Accommodation is offered in 5 en-suite tents, all raised on platforms and offer generous space between them, maximizing privacy at all times.
Located on the tree line of an open plain, the tents’ interiors have been designed spaciously, and soft furnishings follow the lines of strong hues of rich African colour. The bathrooms boast a large stone bath and deluxe shower rose, both of which offer views overlooking the bush.

Each tent enjoys a private deck overlooking an open plain allowing for game sightings up close and personal, especially with the camp being positioned in territory that is renowned to be home to Rhino. For those guests who are true romantics, a private deck dinner is a must as too is a breakfast picnic in the fresh early morning air.

The tents can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests, tents have no electricity but they are fully furnished with private decks, mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms and most of the rooms enjoy a bush view.

Conference Facilities
Kwafubesi offers an authentic traditional African safari, where clients may take over the entire lodge for the duration of their stay. In addition, the camp offers a basic conference set-up for ten people in an open-air Boma.
Equipment and services available include flip chart and pin board, display area, photocopying service and special theme evenings.

Cuisine
At Kwafubesi guests set their own pace. Meals are generally served in the open dining area with no rigid times offering guests added flexibility. Dining may also be turned into a romantic rendezvous in the open bush, or next to a waterhole, prepared on an open fire in true South African style.

The Waterberg mountain range snugly cradles the renowned Mabula Private Game Reserve, which is home to a mosaic of exceptional scenic landscapes as well as an abundance of wildlife species. Game viewing is at its best against a backdrop of rivers, streams and stretches of open vistas.
Mammal species include big game such as elephant, lion, white and black rhino, hippo, leopard and buffalo. African python and the Nile crocodile are also resident in the reserve which is a bird watchers’ paradise as well.

By Air:
Mabula has no contracted charter company. Landing strip co-ordinates:
- Latitude: 24degrees / 44 minutes / 94 seconds South
- Longitude: 27 degrees /55 minutes / 46 seconds East

By Road:
Take the N1 freeway towards Pretoria, turn off onto the Pietersburg Highway and follow the road to Bela Bela (Warmbaths). Take the Bela Bela / Settlers Codrington off-ramp.
Turn left at yield sign and proceed for ± 5kms to the T-junction then turn right. Go over the bridge, turn left at the garage and follow the Thabazimbi road.

Follow the road past Forever Resorts Aventura, down the traffic circle. At the circle, turn left on the Thabazimbi Rooiberg Road and proceed along for 34kms.
Lookout for the "Mabula Trading Store", 500m past the store turn right on Rooiberg Road then follow Mabula Signs for 11kms to Mabula Gate.
