Serenity on the Lake is just a five minute drive from the famous Longbeach and Noordhoek beach and Chapman’s Peak, the Cape Winelands, and Cape Point are all within easy reach of our small private Guest House accommodation. Serenity on the Lake is a privately owned guest house, we offer our guests the very best of service and hospitality with a touch of class. You can enjoy a exotic cocktail on our terrace with while enjoying the tranquil yet sweeping views across the lake toward Table Mountain National Park, or… just unwind by our pool, sipping Champagne in our garden hot tub.

For the more energetic work out in our gym or benefit from a leisurely stroll on one of the nearby hiking or cycling trails.

Serenity on the Lake Accommodation

Our four well appointed rooms which include two suites and two garden rooms are ideal for the Business traveller and Leisure Traveller alike.
We also offer Serenity on the Lake as a whole house villa rental for that special holiday, wedding or occasion.

Luxury 4 star Boutique type Guest Villa accommodation featuring a variety of rooms to suit your needs.
Serenity on the Lake is a tranquil Luxury Guest villa, come stay in either our suites or pretty garden rooms. Lavish breakfasts, drinks on our terrace or take a dip in our Pool. Our rooms include the luxurious honeymoon suite, comfortable junior suite and two garden suites with spectacular views.

The suites consist of:
Honeymoon Suite
Our honeymoon suite is a tranquil Triple Aspect Sunny Bedroom with a magnificent Four Poster Bed with spectacular Lake/Garden and Pool Views. The French doors open up onto one of our terraces where you can relax and enjoy your lavish breakfast or sip on a refreshing cocktail as the sunsets.
Our Honeymoon Suite is a large, bright and airy room with built in wardrobes, side tables with lamps, chandelier, and writing desk. Air conditioning, satellite TV and private mini safe. Tea/coffee making tray, and mini-fridge.
The luxury en-suite bathroom boasts a Jacuzzi bath, separate shower and heated towel rails. Free standing washbasin and w.c.
Junior Suite:
This front of house suite is a comfortable room with a cream wooden double bed. Built in wardrobes, side tables and lamps. Tea/coffee making tray, mini fridge, satellite TV and air conditioning. Private safe.
The luxury en suite bathroom boasts a bath, separate shower and heated towel rails, free standing washbasin and wc.
Sunset and Sunrise rooms:
Serenity boasts two lovely standard garden rooms, each having their own shower, w.c. and washbasin.
One of the rooms is twin bedded, the other is a double bedded, and each is individually decorated. Air conditioned, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities. French doors lead from both rooms onto our pretty gazebo garden and pool area.
"Serenity Too, The Beach House":
Serenity Too is a charming, private house just a five minute walk from the famous Long Beach. Our house is situated on a private, exclusive beach side estate in Kommetjie.

Serenity on the Lake is a tranquil Luxury Guest villa. Enjoy your wedding or Honeymoon by relaxing in one of our luxury suites, or for the business traveller and Leisure traveller stay in either our suites or pretty garden rooms.

Lavish breakfasts, drinks on our terrace or take a dip in our Pool .
A warm welcome awaits you at Serenity with five star service.

Our facilities include en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails and private safes, satellite TV, air-conditioning, under floor heating, tea and coffee facilities for each of our rooms. You can enjoy the use of the garden Jacuzzi, private gym, private parking, heated swimming pool and comfortable lounge.
Many additional facilities available on request.

Wireless internet and fax facilities are available. We will be happy to arrange a privet maid or butler and chauffeured driven, transport or a special guided tour to show you around the beautiful surroundings of Cape Town, Kommetjie, Noordhoek, Simons’s Town or anywhere you would like to go on the Atlantic Seaboard or the Cape Town surrounds.

Should you prefer to have a more relaxed stay there are mini bar facilities available and you can indulge yourself with a full body massage or beauty treatment which we will be happy to arrange at your request.
We provide gowns, slippers and complimentary toiletries for all of our guests, and all the rooms have the comfort of wireles.

The Beach House

Bedrooms
Consisting of one character master suite, one twin and one double bedroom. Two en-suites and a further shower room. The master suite has a feature roll top bath and a superb private sundeck with views of the Milkwood trees and the mountains.
Living Area
The spacious living area is tastefully decorated in a laid back beach style. Well equipped, open plan kitchen together with living room and dining area. Satellite TV/DVD and Bookcase. Two sets of French doors lead onto the large garden with its own private 9 metre pool.
Utility Room.
Washing Machine, dishwasher, sink.
This open plan style suits the beach life! Lime washed wooden floors are a feature throughout the house.
Outside
Private pool, separate braai area with Gas braai . Umbrellas and garden furniture including sun loungers are there for your comfort. Our garden is private and is surrounded by Milkwood trees.

Local attractions of the Western Cape:
With so many things to do and so many local attractions in the area we are pleased to assist you with pre-booking your tours whether it is a trip to Cape Point, ride in the cable car up Table Mountain, or a nostalgic trip around the historical naval village of Simons Town.

Maybe you prefer a scenic trip through the world famous Cape Winelands or a round golf at one of the many world renowned golf courses in the area.

For the nature lover we would be pleased to arrange horse riding on Noordhoek Beach, shark diving and surfing. The area is also well known for whale watching and you can spot many dolphins and penguins.

Your friendly host will be more than happy to discuss all your arrangements with you and to assist you to plan a memorable visit.

Private Beach Villa and Wedding venues:
For the more private romantic get away or should your family favour a private beach holiday, we have a separate and private beach villa available for rental with its own pool.

For the idyllic small wedding we offer great individual wedding packages where you can have a romantic beach wedding or an idealistic garden wedding under the gazebo in our gorgeous gardens. Serenity on the Lake is a convenient Cape Town small wedding venue.
