The Hout Bay Manor, built in 1871, is renowned as one of Cape Town’s most graceful landmarks. The recently restored Hout Bay Manor offers 19 individually designed en-suite rooms and a sophisticated fine dining restaurant named Pure. Hout Bay Manor, protected by century old oak trees, was built from stone 600mm thick walls and in traditional Cape Colonial style by Jacob Trautmann on an unspoiled piece of land, which had previously been part of the Kronendal Estate. 2006 saw the start of an 18-month refurbishment that was completed in October 2007 to recapture the charm and beauty of this original home, in a vibrant African cultured style. Sangoma Double Room
Chic and spacious Sangoma Room with freestanding bath and private balcony
overlooking the pool area. We can offer you our two luxury Sangoma rooms
as a Sangoma family apartment with a private entrance, two bedrooms and
a private entrance hall. The family apartment can accommodate up to six
people.
Sotho Double Room
Ground floor double rooms with a private courtyard, and a refreshing al
fresco shower. Two rooms have an inter-leading possibility, and can accommodate
a baby cot in the room. One wheelchair friendly room.
Xhosa Double Rooms
Cosy double rooms. Upstairs with mountain views. Also available as single
rooms.
Zulu Double Room
Luxurious double rooms with a picturesque view of the exquisite garden
and the sparkling pool. First floor. Some rooms can accommodate a baby
cot or extra bed.
