The property at Lions Rock is extensive, so you are welcome to take a casual stroll around the ground or a more energetic walk down to the stunning River Rapids of the Sabie River which flows into the Kruger National Park.

Lions Rock Golf Lodge Accommodation

We have a selection of luxurious suites all with their own entrances, some with covered parking and all with private patios and swimming pools.
Enjoy the magnificent views from your chalets, whether it be sunrise or sunset. All chalets have self-catering facilities as well as bathrooms en suite.

Set high on a shale of granite rock overlooking awesome mountain views, the luxury chalets exude elegance and comfort. The luxury chalets are set apart from each other in our beautifully manicured gardens.
Our chalets are extremely spacious, with king size beds and all have indoor and covered outdoor sitting areas. You can also watch DSTV in the privacy of your room or even select a DVD from our vast collection at our Big Screen Home Theatre in the main house.

All our rooms have a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a small bar fridge and a microwave. All chalets are serviced daily and each has spa bath, luxury shower, towels, toiletries, hair dryer, laundry basket and swimming towels on request.
Another unique feature of Lions Rock Golf Lodge is the covered parking right next to your chalet, should it be required.

Lions Rock Lodge has a host of facilities to keep you busy and entertained for days.

Breakfast
Start your day with A LIONS' SHARE Breakfast on the main Lodge's thatched veranda, seating at separate tables, overlooking the garden and rolling hills, in company with prolific bird life and small wild visitors such as geckos, woodpeckers, and monkeys being frequent resident guests.

Walking / Strolling
The property at Lions Rock is extensive, so you are welcome to take casual stroll around the ground or a more energetic walk down to the stunning River Rapids of the Sabie River which flows into the Kruger National Park. Relax under the shade of the enormous trees or paddle your feet in the cool water.

Fishing
Swim or fish in the river, and frolic over the rapids, picnic on the river banks, or fish in one of three dams on the property.

Golfing
For the golfers, we boast our own 9 hole par 3 Golf Course set in the scenic Sabie Valley. Test your golfing skills on the challenging course that has one green overlooking the Sabie River.
Ladies' and men's tee boxes are set up and the longest fairway is 210m. Golf Cart available for hire. There is no additional charge for the use of the golf course.

For the less outdoor orientated guests, why not sit back and enjoy the comforts of our fully equipped Theatre Room to view Sport on the BIG screen with other guests.
Enjoy a quiet or social drink at the adjacent Golf Bar.
Luxurious Beauty Treatments and a range of Massages to pamper and enhance your well being, leaving you relaxed and de-stressed, either in your own chalet / veranda whilst gazing lazily at the views, or on the river banks, by arrangement.

How To Get To Lions Rock Golf Lodge

From Johannesburg / Pretoria
Travel on the N4 to Nelspruit, at Nelspruit take the R40 to White River and then travel from White River to Hazyview (still on the R40).
Once you reach Hazyview, carry on passing 3 stop signs and travel for approximately 900m and then turn left to Sabie (R536). Lions Rock Golf Lodge is approximately 7Km up the road on the right hand side.
