Restaurants, museums, the Cathedral and Rhodes University are within walking distance. Our cottages have been carefully restored and have high ceilings, sash windows, wooden floors of Oregon or Yellowwood and Oregon doors, many of which have antique lifting locks.

They also have beautiful cast iron fireplaces. The lovely period furniture has been collected over many years at local auctions. Most pieces are made of Oak or Teak although there are also Yellowwood and Oregon items.
To ensure the comfort of guests modern conveniences are provided such as hair driers, electric blankets, TV's, heaters and fans and tea & coffee trays.

This gracious home with its wrap around verandahs was built in 1863. It is set back from the road in a beautiful garden.
There are 6 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The large lounge and dining room is popular with wedding groups and people attending 21st's. There is ample off-street parking.

The rooms consist of the following:
- Room 1 and Room 2 are a family suite of two rooms sharing a bathroom with corner bath. There is a double bed and two single beds and both rooms have French doors opening onto the front verandah.
- Room 3 has a double bed and a single bed and en suite bathroom with shower.
- Room 4 is a twin room with two magnificent brass beds and a private bathroom across the passage with a bath.
- Room 5 has a double bed and en suite bathroom with both shower and bath.
- Room 6 is another twin room with en suite bathroom with shower.

Built in 1845, this cottage is close to the road as are all the Settler homes in the area.
There are 4 en suite rooms:
- Room 1 has a double bed and bathroom with shower.
- Room 2 also has a double bed and bathroom with shower.
- Room 3 has twin beds and a bathroom with shower over the bath.
- Room 4 has a single bed with bathroom with shower.

There is a spacious lounge and separate dining room for sole use of guests. A walled garden at the back of the house has a mobile braai . We have 4 off-street parking bays.

At the back of Jasmine Cottage looking out on a parking and patio area is a spacious room with an original Oregon ceiling probably predating the main house. It has a straight parapet as was found on all the little shops in this historical area.
It now consists of a double bed with TV, electric blankets, heater, and fan. A small kitchenette can be used for light meals and the bathroom has a shower.
