“The Birdhouse” is situated in 16th Avenue, Gonubie opposite the Bird Sanctuary that is home to rare indigenous flora and is a bird and nature lover’s paradise with over 160 species - it’s also the home of the Crowned Crane.

The Birdhouse is the perfect venue to stay for business trips, holidays, sporting events or just an over night stay.
With 8 rooms available we can accommodate up to 16 guests at one time.
It is conveniently situated within walking distance to most amenities and shops. Relax with sundowners on the deck overlooking the Bird Sanctuary.

How To Get To The Birdhouse

From Airport
From the airport turn left to East London in Settlers way, follow the road the name will change to Fleet Street. Go through the circle and keep going till you reach a stop street.
Turn left into Fitzpatrick road and strait onto the R72 (North east expressway) .Turn right onto the N2 to Umtata, pass the Beacon Bay off- ramp and take the Gonubie turn off.
Turn right in Gonubie main road, turn right in 7th Street (Just as you past Gonubie Butchery). Second stop left into 16th Avenue. The B&B will be on your left hand side (first entrance).
