Wyndford Holiday FarmA quality, affordable holiday for the whole family ... complete with three delicious, home-cooked meals a day. Immensely charming and magical, Wyndford offers a forgotten way of living that promises to renew your connection with your self, the people in your life, nature and with God.
Wyndford holiday farm is a brilliant getaway for good family fun that's not too far away.
Give your children the gift of a holiday they will remember long after the latest movies, fads and thrills are forgotten.

Wyndford Holiday Farm Accommodation

Accommodation ranges from Swiss style chalets - each with two bedrooms, en-suite bathroom, downstairs lounge, TV, fridge and fireplace
Two simpler, but still luxurious double rooms, two rondavels and family suites with interleading rooms (all en-suite) and basic, comfortable rooms with shared ablution facilities nearby. And then there are the caves, of course.

Wyndford Holiday Farm Facilities and Activities

Go for a walk, picnic in the mountains, take a swim, ride a horse, crawl through adventure caves, catch a fish, tube down the river, have a mud fight, pet a bunny, feed a tortoise, milk a cow, collect eggs, pick parsley, sleep late, eat as much as you like, play pool, darts, bowls, table tennis, volley ball, read a book under a tree or make new friends to tell stories and play games with around the fire at night-time.

Even Mom gets a break: no cleaning, no cooking, no dishes, no laundry ... So, bring the baby and grandpa and the teenagers and spend some quality time together.
No quad bikes, no traffic, no sirens. Just tranquil peace and quiet and birdsong.

Go for a brisk early morning walk, watch the abundance of birds in the garden, enjoy home-made cookies with tea in the sun, dare to go on a guided walk high up into the mountains, play bowls, mini-golf, table tennis, pool, snooker, darts or go on a sunset stroll.
At the end of the day, play cards, chess or any of the numerous board games with friends or, if you have to, go watch TV.
Come find out what it's like to be really cold. If it snows, you could build a snowman, have a snow-fight or go for a day-long skiing trip to Lesotho.

Six kilometres of (here very full) Caledon river frontage separate the farm from Lesotho. If you catch a fish, we'll cook it for you. It takes a leisurely stroll down the tree-lined dirt road to the entrance to Wyndford to get cell phone reception.

Wyndford is surrounded by the unique formations of the Rooiberge (mountains) of the Eastern Free State.
Lesotho's often snow-capped Maluti Mountains are visible in the distance on most days.
Adventurous explorers, take note: The farm boasts no less than seven caves.

Church services
are held every Sunday in Wyndford's own church. The traditional roast after the Sunday service is simply scrumptious an excuse, here, to celebrate a birthday. Nutritious, wholesome, natural food, using spring water, organic milk and homegrown fruit and vegetables, in season.
Absolute value for money all year round. Tariffs include three meals a day, early morning tea or coffee, mid-morning and afternoon tea or coffee with homemade biscuits or cake. Horse-riding, bowling green fees, etc. are extra.

Regional Offerings:
- Beautiful Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands National Park
- The Katse Dam and the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
- The Cherry Festival
- The Asparagus Festival
- The Cosmos Festival
- The Steam Train Festival
- Qwa Qwa National Park
- Basotho Cultural Village

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken (and don't worry, the road is tarred all the way to Wyndford reception)
