Balmoral Guest House offers an up-market "home from home" accommodation for the business person or guests requiring a pleasant and relaxing stay while away on holiday, visiting family or friends or for those touring South Africa. We are close to amenities in central Durban, La Lucia and Umhlanga.

Balmoral Guest House Accommodation

Our accommodation comprises of a total of 8 spacious and bright rooms. We have 2 executive rooms and 6 standard rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 with a shower only.
There is a room with a jacuzzi, a lavish shower and its romantic mood is best suited for people celebrating anniversaries or those on honeymoon.

Each room has a private sun decked patio where guests are able to relax in their own quiet space and enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee facility (or ice water served daily) with rusks and biscuits in the early morning or the late evening before retiring to bed.
Extreme quality has been purchased with regards to beds, linen and towels.
All the usual hotel amenities have been supplied in each room: shampoo, shower gel, liquid hand soap, bath soap, tissues and shower cap. All room are equipped with a ceiling fan, shaving plug, air conditioner, hair dryer and a TV with some DStv and other channels.

For breakfast, guest have the option of an english breakfast or continental breakfast or they can otherwise eat out if they prefer. Dinner is available on request and should it be required any other time it must be by prior arrangement.

How To Get To Balmoral Guest House

From Jhb / Pinetown
Travelling on N3 from Pinetown, take the N2 (North Coast) highway.Take the first off ramp M19 Umgeni. **Turn right at the robot, and keeping left, follow road to M21 Riverside off ramp.
Take immediate left turn Riverside Road up to robot. Turn right into Riverside Road and continue along this road, keeping left.
Road becomes Prospect Hall – Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarket on your right. Keep straight on this road, crossing over at the stop street, to the end of the road (t-junction – Broadway Street). Turn left into Broadway and first right into Balmoral (+- 5th entrance on left).

From Durban Central.
Follow signs marked City. Take Victoria Embankment, turn left into Stanger Street – this becomes the M4. Keep on this highway until you go past Pick ‘n Pay Hyper by the Sea, take the next off ramp Broadway / Durban North.
Follow Broadway around the bend and up the hill. Just before circle, turn right into Balmoral Drive (+- 5th entrance on left).

From Durban Airport
Follow N2 highway until you get to the M19 Umgeni off ramp – follow directions as for “Jhb / Pinetown”. Follow the directions from here ** (see from Jhb / Pinetown).
