Named for the elusive Mountain Reedbuck that roam the 1600 hectares of mountains and green grassland, Nxala Ranch is your ideal breakaway. The thatch-roofed lodge, situated at the foot of the Biggars Mountain, some 45 kilometres from Dundee (in KwaZulu Natal), nestles amongst willow and paperbark trees in the tranquility of a lush, park-like garden. Nxala Ranch is situated in a malaria free area. It offers four stylish bedrooms, three en-suite and one with a private bathroom , a lounge equipped with satellite TV and music system, a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious "stoep" (veranda) with braai facilities overlooking the dam which is well stocked with bass. |

(Fishing is only allowed with artificial lures on a catch-and-release

Game viewing : Sunset game viewing is an exciting part
of your stay at Nxala Ranch. Game drives can be done in your own 4x4 vehicle
or, on request, guided drives with our 2 gameviewing vehicles (Landrover
Defender and a Unimog for the more adventurous). Nxala Ranch is situated
in a 1600 hectare reserve, where the following game can be seen: Kudu,
Impala, Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Springbok, Black
Springbok, Reebok, Mountain Reedbuck, Gemsbok, Bushbuck, Duiker, Blesbuck,
Ostrich and Giraffe

DIRECTIONS TO NXALA RANCH:
1. From Dundee take the road to Vryheid (R33). Measured from the last
robot in Dundee (on the Vryheid Route), it is 5.5 km before the turn-off
to Nqutu/Ulundi/Melmoth (R68).
2. Travel on the R68 for 26,5 km until you reach the Rorke's Drift turn-off.
Turn right on this gravel road.
3. Continue for 7,4 km until you reach the Rorke's Drift / Dundee T-junction.
4. Continue through the junction slightlyto the right on D571.
5. Follow the Nxala Ranch directions for 6,2 km up to the lodge
