For nature enthusiasts, bird life abounds in a garden which becomes part of the experience, a perfect venue for wedding pictures, short honeymoons and romantic weekends. Leisurely country days can be filled with walks, romantic sunset cruises, windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing, mountain biking, a visit to the historic Motorcycle Museum, visits to the nature reserve and the crocodile.

Stone Cottage consists of two fully equipped, furnished, self-catering units and a newly renovated bed and breakfast unit, all of which have their own small secluded private gardens and braai facilities. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar are provided on arrival; all kitchens are fully equipped with all necessities needed. Bath towels and all bedding are supplied. There is adequate parking for boats, trailers, cars and full use of the main garden and pool area.

With the use of Stone Cottage’s membership card, free access will be provided to the Water Sports Club, for one vehicle with four occupants per cottage. The club allows access to the waterfront and has braai-, ablution- and launching facilities, as well as a lovely fishing spot.

Only 35 km away is the Emerald Casino, which now has a water theme park and a very well-maintained animal sanctuary. For golfing enthusiasts, both the Maccauvlei and the Riviera Golf Courses are within 25 minutes of Deneysville.

The Cottage - Self Catering
A charming stone cottage, fully furnished with a self-contained kitchen with all necessities, a main bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a lounge equipped with a double and single sleeper couch, dining table and chairs, television, Hi-Fi and DVD player. The cottage has a small, secluded private garden equipped with table, chairs and braai facilities. To the front there is a verandah covered by a grapevine for shade.

The Norma Jean Room - Bed and Breakfast
The Norma Jean Room is a newly renovated bed and breakfast unit, tastefully furnished, offering a romantic experience with a comfortable double bed and bathroom en-suite. It is equipped with bedding, bath towels, a television, DVD, microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and plates, kettle, coffee, tea, milk and sugar on arrival. It has a small garden equipped with an outside braai and washing up area. This room was inspired by Marilyn Monroe's glamour and her unparalleled glow and energy that enamoured the world.

The Stable - Self Catering
The Stables is newly renovated with a luxurious, fully furnished en-suite bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed and mosquito net, a television, a DVD player, Hi-Fi and three comfortable chairs. The unique bathroom has a shower over the bath, shared by the adjoining second bedroom which have a double bed and a single bed over the top. The adjoining fully equipped kitchen with all necessities and a garden area with a table, chairs and an open-air shower with hot and cold water complete the picture. There is also a built-in braai, braai table and seating area, as well as a separate, small kettle braai.
