Honeylocust is a modern, luxury Guest House in the historic town of Colesberg.
Perfectly situated just off the N1 highway, it’s the ideal halfway break on a long journey between the North and the South.
The location of Honeylocust is excellent and the spacious gardens give a relaxed atmosphere. Our guest house was established in September 2009. The contemporary design rooms are spacious and equipped with DSTV and a fridge / freezer.
Each of our suites leads out onto its own private, furnished patio; the perfect setting to enjoy coffee and rusks in the fresh, pure morning air. There is a selection of restaurants, bars and cafeterias within walking distance in the town.

Sandpiper
The earthy tones of the Sandpiper Room represent the Karoo soil and rocky hills. It is furnished with a queen-size double bed and sleeps two, though it can be linked with the Guinea fowl Room to accommodate four. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Kingfisher
The warm tones of the Kingfisher Room represent the brilliant sunrise over the Karoo. This room can accommodate up to four guests. It is furnished with a queen-size double bed and a double sleeper couch. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Red Bishop
The firey tones of the Red Bishop Room represent the exquisite sunsets of the Karoo. It is furnished with a queen-size double bed and has an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Blue Crane
The cool light blue tones of the Blue Crane Room represent the vast Karoo sky. It is furnished with a queen-size double bed and has an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower.

Guinea fowl
The rich dark blue tones of the Guinea fowl Room represent the colour of the Karoo landscape on moonlit nights. It is furnished with two single beds but can be linked with the Guinea fowl Room to accommodate a total of four guests. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Sunbird
The fresh green tones of the Sunbird Room represent the flourish of growth after the spring rains in the Karoo. It is furnished with a queen-size double bed and two single beds. There is an en suite bathroom with a bath and seperate shower.
