The Suikerbos Farm is situated on the edge of the Middelberg Pass mountains which is part of the Cederberg Mountain Range and totally covered in unspoiled natural fynbos.
The surrounding Cederberg Wilderness Mountains is covered in snow during winter months and flowers during spring.

The distance is about one and three-quarters of an hours’ drive from Cape Town and 4 km from Citrusdal farm village.
Experience totally private accommodation at the farm with one mountain cottage with a swimming pool for summer months and fire place for winter months on top of the Middelberg pass with 360 degree Panoramic views over River valley, Citrusdal and the Wilderness area.

Self-catering Cottage
The cottage has a very low carbon footprint as it works on solar power for Fluorescent bulbs with gas for fridge/freezer, geazer and stove.
There are 2 rooms, one with a queen size bed and second with 2 single beds. All the beds of course have cotton percale bedding and towels.
Burglar bars have been added for an extra sense of privacy and security for this totally private cottage.
The living room with its high beam ceiling and mohair Sofas are arranged near the fireplace and compliments the relaxed atmosphere of the cottage and its spacious natural surroundings.
The cottage is covered under eucalyptus trees to allow it to still be cool during hot summer months.
The terrace overlooks the valley and with its hammocks positioned in trees is ideal spot for your afternoon siestas with panoramic views over the valley, also the perfect spot for sundowners and to light up a braai.
