Lyngenfjord Guest House offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the sea side village of Cape St Francis - at the most southern point of the Eastern Cape.
The antique Cape Dutch furniture, from the late 1800’s, complements and warms the spacious accommodation.
A Fynbos garden surrounds the house, boasting many plants of this rare and endangered plant group as well as those used for herbal and medicinal purposes.

The tourist, who normally lives in a city and wishes to break away from a hectic jet-set life, will be pleasantly surprised by the natural beauty of Cape St Francis.
The 3 km pristine beach between Seal Point and Cape St Francis, has a healing effect on the soul of the guest, who has had to rush through our great country to enjoy and see as much as possible in too short a time.

Lyngenfjord House Accommodation

Guests have spectacular, panoramic views of the beach and ocean from their bedroom accommodation, private balconies, both lounges, the dining area and the pool terrace – ideal for whale and dolphin watching.
Our accommodation consists of six en-suite bedrooms which are spacious and comfortable. The panoramic views of the sea, the Seal Point surf and the beach break are breathtaking and exhilarating.

The lounge balcony upstairs is ideal for a relaxing read, watching the whales and dolphins, checking the surf at Seals or a sundowner. The patio at the pool is great for breakfast or a typical South African braai.
We have a wheelchair friendly, sea-facing bedroom on the ground floor. Our paraplegic guests can move around the lounge, dining room, bedroom and pool deck with ease.
Parking is also available on the same level. Our guests often watch the whales and dolphins splashing in the waves below from their beds, the breakfast table or the pool side.

How To Get To Lyngenfjord House

We are 115km away from Port Elizabeth and its National Airport. From the N2 take the Humansdorp turn off (80 km west of Port Elizabeth).
When you enter Humansdorp continue straight along the main street until you get to the bottom at a T-junction and turn left on the R330 towards St Francis Bay.
Continue on this road for 28 km into Cape St Francis, drive until you reach a three way stop then turn left into Da Gama Way. From this point on you can follow the signboards.
Then take the third turning right into President Reitz Road and after that the first left into Lyngenfjord Road. Lyngenfjord House B&B is number 7.
