Avondzon is a self catering holiday estate of 266 ha in the eastern Free State of South Africa.
It is situated halfway between Bethlehem and Fouriesburg, almost 6 km from the village of Slabberts, which is situated at the R26 road, at a distance of about 300 km south of Johannesburg.

The estate is particularly ideal for nature lovers who will admire its tranquility, birds and beautiful scenery.
The altitude of about 1800 m of this region guarantees a mild subtropical climate for most of the year.
The nearest national park is the Golden Gate park at a distance of about 65 km.

Avondzon Holiday Farm

Chalet
The chalet is a simple one room rock house at about one hundred metres from the main house. It offers maximum privacy and has its own braai.

Cottage
The cottage, with its thatched roof, is situated at a short distance from the main house.
It has a comfortable and spacious sitting/dining room, a bathroom with shower, bath, washbasin and toilet.
There is one bedroom below with two single beds and one upstairs with a double bed.
The kitchen is equipped with a four plate electrical stove and a refrigerator with freezer compartment.
Outside there is a nice terrace in front, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun and a good glass of South African wine in the evening.
Barbeque facilities are between the main house and the flat.

Flat
The flat is situated right behind the main house.
It is a fully equiped self catering unit, with one bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with toilet, bath and shower, kitchen and sitting room.

Main House
The main house has two bedrooms with each two single beds for guests, sharing one bathroom. Kitchen, dining room, sitting room and tv room.
