Koro-Koro Safari Lodge offers self catering accommodation and we currently accommodate 30 guests at this time. Cook your own meals in our fully equipped kitchens.

Koro Koro Safari Lodge

The undisturbed natural vegetation of Koro-Koro sets the scene for our Bush Camps (sleeps 6 per camp). We have 5 Bush Camps - each Bush Camp consist of three rooms (sleeps 2 people each) and one communal kitchen The kitchen has cutlery, crockery, gas stove, a fridge, microwave and kettle for your convenience.
Each room is tastefully decorated in keeping with the African theme found throughout Koro-Koro. The interior of each room is done in a stylish fashion, with faux sandstone walls and natural wood furniture.

The face brick exterior and grass thatch roof allows each room to blend in with it's surroundings. Koro-Koro's lodge rooms contain two single beds (double beds available on request), en-suite bathroom with shower, a fan in each room and supplied linen (200% cotton percale) and towels guarantees you of a luxurious stay at Koro-Koro. Covered parking is available at each camp.

Bush House
If you want to get away from it all, the Bush House at Koro-Koro has what it takes to help you unwind and relax. The House is set in the Game Park Area of Koro-Koro.
It contains 5 rooms sleeping a total of 14 people (now you can take the whole family). Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge.

2 bathrooms are available for your convenience. A thatched lapa provides ample shade for those lazy 'braai's', and a boma allows you to laze around the fire at night. Don't miss the beautiful view from the balcony. All linen and bath towels are provided. The Bush House will be charged as a unit at a fixed price irrespective of the number of occupants.

Koro-Koro Caravan Park situated in the bush with beautiful surrounding green grass and trees. With its own heated swimming pool and kids playground nearby, the caravan park is fun for the whole family. You may have a braai with family or friends in the relaxed atmosphere.
There are 31 stands and 16 family bathrooms in the main area of the caravan park. For the camper who wants to get away from the crowd we have the 'Bosstaanplekke' another 21 stands with 9 family bathrooms.

These stands are more secluded but still within walking distance from all amenities.Try out the latest addition to the caravan park camp "Haak-en-Steek" features 6 stands with 3 bathrooms and wash-up facility. Laundry and wash up facilities available. Kids (both young and old) bring your bicycles and explore the bushveld.

Under the shade of a magnificent giant Marula tree you will find Koro-Koro Safari Lodge's main lodge area. Relax whilst sipping sun-downers and watch "Africa" go by.
Laze around the pool while Africa's bushveld breeze caresses your skin. We have an indoor bar and luxurious lounge area, as well as an entertainment area with enclosed deck.

A stage is also available where we have live artists appearing for your enjoyment (please note that live artists are by prior arrangement on special occasions as well as selected times only).
Hooligan bar has a big screen and is available for sporting events and major happenings.Also for your entertainment, take a gamedrive through our reserve: Koro-Koro Safari lodge boasts a beautiful and modern air conditioned conference facility.

How To Get To Koro Koro Safari Lodgedirections to koro koro safari lodge in bela bela

To get to Koro-Koro Safari Lodge from Gauteng follow the N1 north Highway to Pietersburg (Polokwane) and take the Warmbaths / Settlers turnoff.

Turn left and drive to Warmbaths, now called Bela-Bela.
Go through the centre of Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) along Chris Hani drive, past the Aventura resort, until the traffic circle and turn left.

This is New Rooiberg road - the R516 going towards Rooiberg and Thabazimbi.
Follow the R516 for 17,4 kilometres and turn left at the Koro-Koro Safari Lodge sign.

Follow the dirt road for 1,7 kilometres, on your right you will Koro-Koro Safari Lodge's main gate.
