Kanya is a luxurious lodge inside the Mabalingwe Nature reserve. The lodge consists of four superior en-suite double bedrooms, each with its own outdoor bush shower.
It has a large open-plan lounge,a dining room ,a kitchen and a separate scullery. There is a double sleeper couch in the lounge and it is equipped with DStv.
The reserve is malaria-free and spread over 12000 hectares. It is host to the Big five, hippo, giraffe, hyena and sable - to name but a few of the species of wildlife. Kanya can accommodate eight to 10 people.

The lodge has 4 en-suite rooms with double beds, bush showers and separate toilets. There is also a double sleeper couch in the lounge.
2 of the bedrooms have an equipped kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge and a covered patio with own braai facility. The lodge has an open-plan lounge, dining room, kitchen, DSTV, hairdryer in every room and ample parking space.

How To Get To Kanya Lodge

From Johannesburg or Pretoria
Take the N1 North to Polokwane / Pietersburg. Take the R516 Bela Bela(Warmbaths) / Settlers turn-off to the left, this is exit 238. In Bela Bela you will reach a T-junction Waterfront, turn right and cross a bridge.
Keep left into Potgieter Street and follow the road which curves around to the right. At the next intersection turn left, Aventura Spa Resort on your left.

At the next roundabout turn left. Follow the signs to Mabalingwe and Thabazimbi. Travel for approximately 28 km and the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve will be on your right-hand side.
After going through the Mabalingwe security gate, follow signs to the Reception where you will get keys and directions to Kanya 127 Kwalata.
