Game drives can also be arranged departing from the Game Lodge. No private game drives are allowed. All children to be 24/7 under Parental Supervision (Big 5 area and no fences around the lodge).
Access to the Game Lodge is via a 12 kilometer dirt road, and although it is passable by normal car, it is recommended to travel with a vehicle with higher ground clearance. Once you have entered the gate you are in big 5 country and already on your own “game drive” towards the Game Lodge.

Baluleni Riverview Game Lodge Accommodation

We have a luxury house consisting of 5 double bedrooms of which 2 bedrooms each have a double and a single bed. There are two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with electricity and gas, lounge, dining room, and balcony. It is personally and tastefully decorated and has a homely, yet elegant feel to it.

Oil paintings of the Bushveld, painted by the owner, grace the walls. The house is available either as a Lodge or for self catering. We provide all linen and the rooms are serviced. The food at the Lodge is prepared and tastefully presented by the owner, a qualified Cordon-Bleu Chef, and special requests are catered for – Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.

The Family Cottage has 4 bedrooms (one queen size, two double, and one with 2 single beds), 2 private bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, open plan with lounge and bar area, verandah, thatch lapa with braai (grill), and pool. The cottage is fully furnished and has a river view. The family cottage accommodates 2 to 8 people and is available for self-catering.

Baluleni Riverview Game Lodge is the ideal place to relax and unwind in total privacy, but is also situated between two Kruger Park Gates (Orpen and Phalaborwa Gates) and offers you the opportunity to visit many of the tourist attractions.

The Kruger National Park, surrounding towns, and other activities such as the Cheetah Breeding Project, Panorama Route, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, or Jessica the tame Hippo, Tshukudu for breakfast walk with lion and game drives, boat trips on the Blyde poort Canyon Dam, are within a short driving distance. Game drives can also be arranged departing from the Game Lodge. No private game drives are allowed.

The river is visible, whether you are sitting in the lounge, the dining room or the veranda, and animal sightings are a daily occurrence. Vervet monkeys, hippos, bushbuck, warthogs, porcupines, elephants, kudu, waterbuck, crocodiles, impala, giraffes, baboons, Egyptian geese, fish eagle, lion, genet, and jackal, have been seen from time to time at the river front and around the Game Lodge.

How To Get To Baluleni Riverview Game Lodge

Leaving the main tarred road between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa at the Parsons Nature Reserve’s signboard, follow the dirt road for 5 km to the gate of the reserve.
Thereafter the dirt road continues for another 7 km towards Baluleni Riverview Game Lodge at Plot 26. Just remember this is now big 5 country and stay in the vehicle. Follow the signs to Plot 26, Baluleni.
