The Artist Retreat is a thatched lodge with 4 en-suite, themed rooms furnished wit exquisite African art.
The Artist's Retreat also includes The Writer's Cottage, a one-bedroom self-catering cottage adjacent to a fragrant citrus orchard.

Facilities include an en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, twin beds, fans, a garden and smoking is prohibited in the rooms.

THE MOKGALAKWENA RESEARCH CENTRE
A privately funded research facility in the Limpopo providing and managing a research network. The mission is to research, document and gain knowledge in the fields of ecology and anthropology.
We also run a structured program for both students and volunteers, which provides a rare opportunity to gain extensive field work experience and contribute to research projects relevant to the greater scientific community.

Visitors to the Mokgalakwena Research Centre have the opportunity to meet researchers and learn about their particular fields of study, and may be able to participate in filed work activities. There is also walking and bird watching activities in the area.
