The upstairs bedrooms in each unit have an en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The downstairs bedrooms have a bathroom with a toilet and bath; bathrooms with a bath have pull-out wash lines over the bath, and all bathrooms have heated towel rails for the Winter months.

Guadeloupe Self Catering Accommodation

The Top Cottage:
(1 Bedroom, 1 en-suite bathroom)
- 1 bedroomed cottage 1 x double bed, en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower.
- Pull out wash line over the bath.

- Comfortable pull out double bed sleeper couch in the open plan lounge/dining area.
- Open plan kitchen – fully equipped for self catering, with stove ,oven , microwave , filter coffee machine, toaster etc - Iron and ironing board.
- Balcony with patio furniture and Weber BBQ.
- Top cottage has great Lagoon views. Ideal for 2 adults, 2 children. Built in wall safe.

The Bright House and Shoe Room - Apartments
(Both 2 Bedrooms / 2 en-suite bathrooms)

- 2 separate bathrooms; one with a toilet and shower, the other with a toilet and bath.
- Pull- out wash line over the bath; heated towel rails in each bathroom.
- TV and M Net Fully equipped for self catering – full fridge, stove and oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster etc.
- Iron, ironing board.
- Open plan kitchen come lounge/dining area – opens onto a large private balcony, ideal for Summer living – Weber BBQ and patio furniture on each balcony. Built – in wall safe.

The Tea Room - Apartment:
(3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms)
- 3 bed roomed apartment – upstairs mezzanine floor bedroom (1 x queen sized bed) and a bedroom with 2 x single beds alongside main bedroom.
- Downstairs bedroom (1 x queen sized bed).
- 2 separate bath rooms; one with a toilet and shower, the other with a toilet and bath.
- Pull-out wash lines over each bath ‘ heated towel rails in each bathroom.
- TV and M Net Fully equipped for self catering – full fridge, stove and oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster etc.
- Iron and ironing board.
- Built in wall safe.
- Open plan kitchen come lounge/dining area – opens up onto a large private patio – ideal for Summer living out doors – Weber BBQ and patio furniture on each balcony.

The Light House - Apartment:
(1 Bedroom, 1 bathroom)
- 1 bed roomed apartment 1 x queen sized bed
- separate bathroom with bath and hand shower
- Pull-out wash line over the bath and heated towel rail.
- Tv and M Net Fully equipped for self catering – full fridge, stove, microwave , filter coffee machine. Toaster etc.
- Iron and ironing board.
- Open plan kitchen / lounge. dining area – opens onto a small Romeo and Juliet balcony , with two chairs and a Weber BBQ – the lagoon views are excellent. Built in wall safe.

All units, including the two cottages have a balcony with patio furniture and a Weber BBQ on each. All the apartment balconies have marvellous views onto the Knysna lagoon.
All units are equipped with hairdryers, fans, heaters, wall safes and filter coffee machines.

Linen and towels are changed regularly and units are serviced daily; except on Sundays and public holidays.

There is an on-premises laundry service – all laundry is left in the bath and is removed by the cleaning staff where it is then washed and/or ironed as requested.

Safe on-premises parking – each unit comes with an automatic gate control. Nine metre swimming pool on the premises for use by our guests.

There is a cookery school on the premises as well – ideal for spouses who are abandoned for the golf course – spend an entertaining and informative morning in the cookery school, and take an entire meal back with you !!

Conference facilities available in the modern well equipped dining area of the cookery school.
“You Look, We Cook” evenings every Wednesday evening – at 7.00 pm - come and watch Albin & Jenny prepare a mouth watering three course meal, with a pre-dinner shooter of gin, strawberries and lavender………loads of fun and good food!

Guadeloupe Self Catering is not your standard 4* Self catering establishment - in addition to our elegant apartments and cottages, we also offer the ideal venue for anyone planning a team building event, corporate or private function, or simply a company break away.

Ideally situated in the heart of the Garden Route, Knysna, the cookery school is located on a hilltop overlooking the famous Knysna lagoon.
The cookery school, situated below the apartments, and completely soundproof, is a fully equipped, contemporary and highly functional training arena - the"ringmaster" is qualified chef of 47 years, Albin Kilzer, accompanied by wife Jenny (the Tiger in the kitchen !).

Both Albin and Jenny thrive on sharing their combined passion for cooking
with others - evident by the successful patronage of local and foreign visitors alike - both locals and those from abroad delight in discovering and absorbing the unending facets of cooking. Fresh, high quality ingredients, along with tried and tested methods of cooking, are used to create culinary feasts.

All guests staying at Guadeloupe are most welcome to join us by arrangement for dinner at the Cook and Look every Wednesday evening, as well as the general public. This is yet another QUALITY EXPERIENCE on offer at Kilzers Kitchen - an evening not to be missed!!

Kilzers Kitchen is also an ideal venue for a small conference - we have the infrastructure to accommodate and cater for a small conference of not more than 40 delegates - we have the facilities to serve morning and afternoon teas, as well as a tasty luncheon prepared in the specially designed kitchen as well.

Route Direction:
If coming from George on the National road, turn left up Lloyd Street before the first set of traffic lights into Knysna. Go up Lloyd Street for about 100 metres, & ast the T-junction at the top, follow the signs for "Guadeloupe Self Catering" all the way to the top of the hill & turn left down into Roos Bolton Crescent - we are at the end of the cul de sac in no's. 3 & 5 Roos Bolton Crescent.
