Cliffhanger Cottages Accommodation
Cliffhanger Chalet:
- Cliffhanger is a luxurious self catering timber chalet
perched on the edge of a steep drop into a forested valley with sweeping,
un spoilt views of the Outeniqua Mountains.
- This is an ideal hideaway for honeymooners, lovers and nature lovers
- It is a very spacious chalet with one bedroom, bathroom with basin,
w/c, bidet and a very large shower with a view.
- Open plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen all warmed by a
firepot on those chilly winter nights.
- A covered and semi enclosed deck with weber braai completes the picture.
- Tv, hifi, dvd and a satellite decoder. (bring own smartcard). All rooms
have large windows facing the panoramic views.
- Situated off the Rheenendal Road, it is very private yet only 15 minutes
to the centre of Knysna and a good swimming beach.
Cliffedge Timber Chalet:
- Spectacular is the word that describes the views from this modern self-catering
timber cottage.
- From the spacious deck you look down on the trees and
the birds flying in the valley below, across to the Knysna forest with
the Outeniqua mountains beyond.
- If you are on honeymoon or just want to spend some quality time with
your partner in total privacy then this is the place to be.
- With a spacious open plan design flowing onto a full length deck, a
large shower with a view, luxurious furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen,
Cliff Edge Cottage has all you need for a fabulous break.
- Fittings include a ceramic firepot to warm you on a chilly winter night
(and perhaps a glass of fine red wine), a TV, HiFi, DVD and decoder. (Bring
your own smartcard)
- The only drawback to this piece of paradise is that you are not going
to want to leave.
Hedge Cottage:
The Hedge is affordable accommodation in a lovely garden
setting.
It is a comfortable and modern bed-sit suitable for two people and makes
an ideal base from which to explore the region.
It has a well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a spacious shower
and a covered patio with a braai.
There are beautiful views from both the bed and the patio.
The unit is equipped with a TV, DVD and Mini Hi Fi and a satellite decoder
with SABC and E channels.
Directions:
From George travel towards Knysna.Pass through Sedgefield, Pass the turnoff
to Buffalo bay, up a long hill, over the top, and look for the Rheenendal
road turnoff on the left. Turn into Rheenendal road and follow for 6km
and look for the blue surfboard on the right. Turn right into the driveway.
From Knysna take the main road towards George. Drive around the lagoon,
over the last bridge and up the long hill just before the top look for
the Rheenendal road turnoff on your right. Turn onto the Rheenendal road
and follow for 6km and look for the blue surfboard on the right. Turn
right into the driveway.
