The Executive / Honeymoon suite is upstairs in the Lodge
- beautifully appointed, with an extra length queen size bed.
The suite offers air- conditioning, an intimate lounge area with a log
fire- place. Full en-suite bathroom with a plunge bath, separate shower.
The view from the spacious balcony encompasses the river valley and indigenous
forests.
The deluxe suite upstairs in the Lodge is generously
proportioned , complete with beautiful furniture and cosy log fireplace,
offering twin or king-size bed and full bathroom en-suite. A private balcony
with views over the river valley and forests.
The Garden complex offers:
· Family rooms, spacious standard twin rooms, and open plan studio
apartments with kitchenettes.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private verandas, tea and coffee
making facilities, TV's with M-net, hair dryers and ceiling fans. Self-catering
kitchenettes are equipped with microwaves, hotplates, mini fridge, pots,
pans, crockery and cutlery and all linen. Rooms are serviced daily.

Breakfast:
Full English breakfast and continental breakfast are served in the sun-
drenched "Ekuseni" ( good morning in Zulu) breakfast room overlooking
the Goukamma River. Lunch Light lunches served "alfresco" at
the pool or the 19th hole pub on the Mashie Course.
Dinner: (by prior arrangement)
Three course "Safari Style" dinners prepared by hosts and served
under "African Skies." Specializing in traditional local fare,
using freshly sourced ingredients. The evening is often rounded off with
Star Gazing

Activities at Blackwaters River Lodge
Our very own challenging 9 hole par 3 (Mashie) Golf Course,
ideal for the beginner or to hone your short game (Clubs available for
hire)
Relax around our swimming pool in front of the Lodge which over looks
the Blackwaters of the Goukamma River. Mature indigenous trees in the
manicured gardens and on the river banks ensure shade and abundant bird
life, over 100 species have been identified from the Lodge.
Take a canoe and drift up and down the river in front
of the Lodge or for the more adventurous, a 2 hour canoe trip to the beach,
you can arrange to be collected or work up an appetite and row back to
the Lodge.
Hop onto one of our mountain bikes and cycle down to Buffalo Bay or cycle
up a dirt track into the hills beyond the Lodge.
Retreat to the cosy lounge with a private honesty bar, fire place, 42"
plasma flat screen TV with DVD, VCR and DSTV and a fantastic selection
of books on a wide variety of Fauna and Flora of Southern Africa.
Should you not want to join us for dinner there are many fantastic restaurants within 12km and for those who do not want to drive we can arrange transport to and from any venue.
