Portsmouth Point built in the early 1800's provides comfortable and attractive accommodation, ideal for a couple or a single person. The cottage is in the heart of Stromness situated on one of the
old piers, and is only a two minutes walk from the ferry terminal,
pubs, restaurants, museum and bakery. |
The toilet is on the ground floor just off the entrance hall whilst the
upper floor bedroom has an ensuite shower room and a walk in wardrobe
area with ample storage.
In the downstairs galley kitchen area there is a washing machine, tumble
dryer, microwave , fridge and a small cooker.
The bedroom has views across to the light house on Graemsay and provides
a great location for watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour.

Directions
Getting There by Ferry
The ferry from Scrabster takes you right into Stromness.
When leaving the ferry terminal turn left along the harbour road.
At the Stromness Hotel continue into Victoria Street.
The cottage is 200 yards further on just past The Royal Hotel on the opposite
side, down the close at the side of Merrimans electrical shop.
