Ingasquoy Lets this is a surprisingly spacious house, situated in the historic town of Stromness a short distance from the ferry terminal, was once the offices of a local fishing company, and has been recently converted to offer excellent modern accommodation for up to 4 guests. Although parking immediately adjacent to the house may be difficult at times, temporary parking for unloading etc is usually possible, and there are ample parking facilities nearby. |
Ingasquoy Lets Accommodation
On the ground floor there is an attractive sitting room, with a colour
television.
The bathroom, with toilet and washbasin, has an additional wall heater.
Upstairs, the double bedroom and twin bedroom both have views over the
harbour area towards the Hoy hills.
There is a shower room with toilet and washbasin.
Upstairs there are oil-filled radiators, and an electric heater.
Steps beside the house lead down to pay-parking, but free parking is available
within 50 100 yards.

Directions
Getting there from the Information Centre
As from the ferry terminal follow the main street passed the butcher/
grocer on the right.
Through the pass and 22 John Street is immediately on the left.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Kirkwall Airport turn right taking the A960 to Kirkwall.
Follow signs for Stromness A965 on entering Stromness.
At the crossroads turn right and follow the road passed the fire station.
Continueuntil the road narrows, there is a Butcher/ Grocer on the right,
drive through the pass and 22 John street is immediately on the left.
Getting There by Ferry
From the ferry turn right at the first junction, turn left and follow
the main street passed the butcher/ grocer on the right, through the pass
and 22 John Street is immediately on the left.
By foot,cross the road to the Ferry Inn car park, by the cafe is a flight
of stairs, climb these and immediately left is 22 John Street.
