With magnificent views over Stromness Harbour and Marina, the
Hamnavoe Hostel is situated less than 5 minutes
walk from the Stromness town centre and all it's amenities. |
All rooms are equipped with wash hand basin with shower/bathroom facilities
on each floor.
We have newly refurbished one of our bedrooms in 2007 giving it a full
wet room en-suite.
We have completed our expansion in 2007 and can now offer two luxury self
contained Studio Apartments alongside the Hostel.
Each apartment sleeps two people.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Tourist Information Centre go to the top of the pier turn right
and continue along Ferry road we are situated half way along on the left.
Getting There by Car
From the Stromness Ferry turn right onto Ferry road we are situated halfway
along on the left.
Getting There by Railway
From Inverness railway station to Thurso railway station bus to Scrabster,
ferry to Stromness, exit terminal building and continue to the top of
the pier turn right and continue along Ferry road we are situated half
way along on the left.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Kirkwall airport taxi or bus to Stromness Travel Centre, go to the
top of the pier turn right and continue along Ferry road we are situated
half way along on the left.
Getting There by Ferry
From Pentland Ferries terminal at St Margrets Hope, follow signs for Kirkwall
(for approx 15 miles) then follow the signs for Stromness (for approx
15miles).
On entering Stromness continue along Ferry Road, we are situated half
way along on the right.
From the Aberdeen ferry,follow sign to Stromness.
