" From Portree, take the Uig/Dunvegan road for approx 4 miles.
Take the A850 road towards Dunvegan.
After a quarter of a mile , take the first left sign towards Peiness.
Go 1 mile down the single track road, past MacDiarmid School, and "Torwood"
can be found, second house on the left.

Getting There by Railway
From Kyle Railway Station cross the Skye Bridge.
Follow the A87 Road to Portree.
From Portree take the Uig/Dunvegan Road for approximately 4 miles.
Turn left at the A850 Road Junction towards Dunvegan.
Take the 1st left signed to Peiness for 1 mile and Torwood can be found
2nd on the left.
Getting There by Ferry
From Armadale (Skye) follow Main Road to Broadford.
Continue on the A87 to Portree.
From Portree take the Uig/Dunvegan Road for approximately 4 miles.
Turn left at the A850 Road Junction towards Dunvegan.
Take the 1st left signed to Peiness for 1 mile and Torwood can be found
2nd on the left.
