Ard Dearg is nestling on the north shores of Portree Bay, Ard Dearg Self Catering has two delightful timber-built properties available for weekly let and suitable for one or two people.
In addition, we are now able to offer a detached two-bedroom bungalow, suitable for up to four guests.

Ard Dearg has small balconies on each of the 2 person timberlined 1 bedroom chalets or 1and 2 bedroom bungalow, face south overlooking Portree Bay just 5 minutes walk from Portree square.
There is a patio garden for guests.

Ard Dearg properties are fully furnished to Scottish Tourist Board 3-star standard and are located in a residential part of the village of Portree, within easy walking distance of local amenities.

Directions

The road journey from Glasgow to Portree is 220 miles, taking approximately 5 hours of continuous driving.
The road journey from Inverness to Portree is 110 miles, taking approximately 2.5 hours of continuous driving.
Portree is typically approached from the A87 from either the Skye Bridge (Viewfield Road, above) or Uig (Dunvegan Road, above).
As you enter the village, follow signs for Staffin along the A855.
With the harbour and Portree Bay to your right, continue along Bosville Terrace and Mill Road, then take the right-hand road at the y-junction marked for "The Cuillin Hills Hotel" (Scorrybreck Road, above).
Ard Dearg is located immediately at the bottom of the hill and guest parking is outside the Chalet, illustrated inset above.

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Portree Tourist Information Centre, turn left into Bank Street and continue along Bosville Terrace and Mill Road.
Turn downhill right at Scorrybreck Road signposted for Budhmor and Cuillin Hills Hotel.
Establishment has a red doored frame and is on the left at base of hill.

Getting There by Railway
From Kyle of Lochalsh Railway Station, we are 35 miles along A87 and across the Skye Bridge.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness Airport, we are 130 miles along A82 and A87.
