The house is in a secluded dry stone walled garden (with lawn, decking and trees) which is quite a sun trap in the summer months and an ideal place to relax with a glass of Orkney wine after a busy day sight-seeing. There is also a gas barbecue for your use.

There are many restaurants and pubs, all in close proximity, a mere 5-10 minutes walk away. Also, almost on your doorstep, are local shops for all your needs, whether you're after a pint of milk or a souvenir.

Accommodation

Kingston House is newly finished to a very high standard, with feature lighting inside and out. Oak doors and fresh decor throughout gives a quality finish. An airsource heat pump provides environmentally friendly underfloor heating throughout.

For added effect, a multifuel stove is the centre point in the living area, and provides a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equiped with the latest and necessary appliances to make your stay hassle free. The living area has oak furniture and widescreen TV with a surround sound system.

The master bedroom has an en-suite with power shower, jacuzzi bath and superking bed (or twin beds if you prefer), built-in wardrobe and flatscreen TV and a full height feature window with garden view.

Kingston Lodge is a newly renovated 19th century property in Kirkwall with many of the original features retained. If a handsome and unique town house is the accommodation you seek in Orkney, then Kingston Lodge is ideal for you.
