Cuta Bay Self Catering Mozambique

Cuta Bay is next to the sea and is small, secluded and private, perfect for those who wish to avoid bustling resorts crowded with tourists.
At Cuta Bay you stay in one of a half dozen air-conditioned wooden chalets, each one tucked away in the bush for your privacy, with undercover parking.

Each chalet is equipped for self catering but we also have a restaurant where it will be our pleasure to serve you with delicious meals, with fresh seafood a speciality!
The summer months here, from November to April, are characterised by warm temperatures with average annual temperatures ranging from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius.

Cuta Bay Self Catering Mozambique

Cuta Bay is situated only 15 km off the main road, north of the town Massinga in Inhambane Province and is easy reachable by car, although the last 2 km is presently a 4x4 track. We offer airport transfers for guests flying into Inhambane or Vilanculos airports.

Accommodation at Cuta Bay Self Catering

The accommodation at Cuta Bay consists of a small number of wooden guest chalets with undercover parking. These chalets are placed around in the bush in such a way that each has its privacy.
Each chalet is roughly 50 metres from the beach with its own pathway to the beach although there is no sea view from the chalets themselves.
Each chalet can sleep up to five people, depending on the need, and is a fully furnished open plan unit with a kitchenette equipped with cutlery, crockery, a two plate gas stove and a gas fridge/freezer. Power is supplied by a generator.

All chalets are conditioned, bathrooms are fitted with a gas geyser for the shower. Towels and linen are provided, but not beach towels so please bring your own. All our chalets are serviced daily for your convenience.
Although the accommodation is equipped for self catering, you may prefer to take advantage of our restaurant and beach bar which are housed separately.

Here you may enjoy a variety of sumptuous cuisine, including fresh local seafood (a perennial favourite). The restaurant and beach bar also offers magnificent sea views so that you can enjoy your meal or drink in restful style. Braai (barbecue) facilities are also available for a traditional South African braai.
