"Our House" -Two story ,2 bedroom ,2 bath DELUXE cottage with jacuzzi,two decks and five appliances. With the living-room futon Our House will comfortably sleep up to 6 guests.

The Cottages:

Down at the Crossroads
"Down at the Crossroads" is our new ,open concept ,pine finished cottage at old Aitken's Ferry in Lower Montague PEI.
The covered veranda is a wonderful place to relax and spot Great Blue Herons or watch the fishing boats go by or catch a great sunset.

Perfectly suited for couple or even a small family,this fun little cottage is really equipped to make your stay an enjoyable one.
A coffee maker,microwave, 2 burner cooktop and a gas BBQ ensure that you can whip up your favourite foods during your stay or there are lots of restaurant choices closeby.

"Down at The Crossroads "sleeping area is equipped with a comfortable double bed and an "en suite"bath .
The relaxing sitting area with Sat. TV and AM/FM CD player has been furnished with a double futon to accommmodate that extra guest or two.

Spend your evening with a bonfire on the shore, dig for clams or beachcomb for an interesting souvenir. Take our double kayak down to the "Point" to see the seal colony or explore some of the coastline.

"Down at the Crossroads" is close to town of Montague(pop.2000) where you'll find shopping,restaurants and ctivities. Panmure Island Beach(one of the best) is within 10 minute drive of this great little cottage. Red House Over Yonder
"Red House Over Yonder"is our heritage cottage located overlooking historical De Roma point. Built in the late 1940's we totally renovated the building in 1987 and have been upgrading ever since! It has become a cute and cozy cottage with a true maritime flavour.

The "Red House"has a small bedroom (with double bed) and an "en suite"bath with circular shower. The living room has a comfortable hideabed couch for any extra guests and is equipped with Cable TV,VCR and AM/FM cassette stereo to satisfy your entertainment needs. We've recently added a comfortable futon to the enclosed veranda...perfect for the kids!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your favourite foods or cook a meal outside with the included gas BBQ.

"Red House Over Yonder" is nestled between the bay and a 50 acre tree farm and provides for a private, relaxing getaway for the Island visitor. Walk our woods trails,wander the shoreline,or experience some of the many summertime activities around the Island . This fabulous little spot is close to golf courses,shopping,restaurants,beaches and some of the most beautiful scenery that the Island has to offer.

"Our House"
2 bedroom / 2 story deluxe cottage

Here's what you get......
The HUGE second story loft bedroom is complete with own sitting (TV) area, bathroom, corner jacuzzi and private balcony!
This bedroom is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed and will also accommodate a small child's cot if required.

The first floor bedroom also has a queen size bed and it's own 3 piece bath, TV and private deck. French doors lead you from this great bedroom to the spacious 1st floor living area. A comfortable futon in the living room can accommodate any extra guests. Cable TV, CD player and VCR are all supplied for your entertainment needs. Wireless Internet is now available.

A fully equipped and modern kitchen with an waterview deck & gas BBQ enhances the enjoyability of this GREAT vacation home. Steam some mussels ,boil some lobster or barbeque steaks and enjoy a quiet Island summer evening on the deck.
Our House is perfectly suited for families or couples travelling together.

Spend a week at Our House and take in all that the Island has to offer! Beachcomb our shores,walk our woods trails,go kayaking or just sit on the deck and watch the fishing boats go by. Explore the scenic Island and take in one of the fun Island summer festivals.

Touring the Island and RELAXING at "Our House" is a terrific way to spend your Maritime vacation!

Yes...we are generally pet friendly ...
We travel extensively with our dogs...... so we understand!
Your pets are welcome at PEI Cottages with some conditions. We request that the pets are never left in our cottages unattended (unless crated- and then never for more than 3 or 4 hours). We also request that you "pick up" after your pet if on our lawns.

Pets should be kept leashed /controled, so as not to interfere or disturb other guests. "Off leash" is still permited on our pet safe trails and on most of PEI's shoreline. "Scooping" is generally not enforced on the shoreline or our trails.

We DO charge a pet surcharge per stay. Our cleaners pride themselves in their service and now insist on the surcharge for extra cleanup (the doghair ,the sand or grass or whatever else your "pup" drags in!).... we think this is a reasonable policy.

Here's how to find us.....
Exit the Town of Montague heading east on Main St past the "Buddist Enlightenment Center" ( long grey building on the left ) and continue down Hwy #17 for approx 3.8 Km.
Pass the French Creek Lodge (on the left) and go about 300 ft to the first paved intersection since leaving Montague.
Bear to the left at that intersection and this puts you on the Lower Montague Rd.
Travel down the Lower Montague Rd until you come to the fishermen's wharf...continue straight past the wharf and past the Points East Scenic Coastal Drive"Starfish" sign .
Travel exactly one Km and you will see our PEI Cottages on the right side of the road ....our Red House Over Yonder cottage with it's bright red paint is easy to spot !
Now .... you can let your vacation begin ! !
