Welcome to Duneside Cottage! Enjoy your own private access to Bothwell Beach! Duneside Cottage is your holiday sanctuary, nestled in the trees and just steps away from the ocean at beautiful Bothwell Beach. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves from the comfort of your secluded deck or, take a very short walk to our private beachfront where you can wiggle your toes in the powdery white sand. From the property, stroll the beach which connects onto Basin Head and the famous “singing sands”. This stretch of beach is considered by many to be the best on PEI and was nominated as one of Canada’s Seven Wonders. If you prefer to get out on the water, Bothwell Beach is an excellent spot to enjoy canoeing and kayaking or to connect with a fishing charter out of nearby North Lake.

Duneside Cottage Accommodation

Our fully renovated cottage offers 700 square feet and two bedrooms to sleep up to six guests. The master bedroom boasts a new premium quality queen size bed, with a twin size bunk bed in the second room. Two additional guests will sleep soundly on the living room’s hide-a-bed.

The cottage has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, satellite TV, electric heat, telephone and large sun deck with a propane BBQ, patio table and umbrella. Just bring the food and you are all set for a vacation to remember!

· Driving up the lane in early July through the avenue of wild pink and purple lupines.

· Opening the car door and smelling the scent of salt and balsam.

· Jumping into the warm water of The Run (the creek) and being carried out to the big sandbar.

· Walking the beach in the early morning and coming upon creations other people have made from shells and sand and driftwood.

· Watching chipmunks play around the roots of the fir trees.

Location
Cradled in the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Atlantic Canada, Duneside Cottage is located in Bothwell near Prince Edward Island's beautiful East Point. It features direct private access to the white "singing sand" beach that stretches several kilometers to the famous Basin Head Beach and Fisheries Museum.

Duneside Cottage is located at 56 Carl's Lane, in Bothwell, near Kingsboro, about 15 minutes east of Souris, near East Point.

Directions:
Take Rte 16 East from Souris until you get to Bothwell. Locate Elliot's General Store. Keep going a few hundred meters to MacVane Farm Lane. Turn right. Follow MacVane Farm Lane to Carl's Lane. Turn left. Watch for number 56 Carl's Lane, Duneside Cottage.
