Welcome to Crane’s Landing Bed and Breakfast and Tearoom, providing quality accommodations and dining experiences to our many local, visiting and returning customers. Greeting you at the door and ensuring that Crane’s Landing feels like home, our manager, Janice, provides warmth and genuine Island hospitality. The 125 year old house itself is a bit of Island history, sitting above the village of Mt. Stewart, an easy walk to the confederation trail, and a short drive from many Island golf courses and tourist attractions. All of our produce for breakfast and lunch is locally grown and the baked goods and preserves are made on site.

So whether you need a quaint and quiet place to lay your head, a home-cooked meal of traditional Island favourites to keep you going or a cup of tea and a dessert to keep your spirits up, Crane’s Landing is the perfect choice.
We are also available for wedding photos and receptions in April-May and September-October.

Crane's Landing Accommodation

B&B
Crane's Landing is a 3 1/2 star bed and breakfast located in lovely Mt. Stewart. The Bed & Breakfast runs from May 15th through October 15th or by special arrangement. We have three rooms available. Tracey’s Haven is a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The adjoining suites of the Kelly Room (queen bed) and Rose Room (double bed) share a private bath. Cots and cribs are available for an additional charge.

The Kelly Room
The Kelly Room is a single suite with a queen bed, bay window sitting area and cable television. The Kelly room connects with The Rose Room and both are rented together at the standard rate. The connecting door can be opened or closed making these rooms ideal for couples traveling together or parents traveling with children who desire some privacy.

The Kelly Room and Rose Room combo have their own bathroom. All rooms include a full breakfast consisting of a selection of cereals, fresh seasonal fruits, homemade breads, muffins, scones and jams and a hot breakfast dish. Served between 7:30-9am (or earlier upon request).

The Rose Room
The Rose Room is a single suite with a double bed. The Rose Room connects with The Kelly Room and both are rented together at the normal room rate. The connecting door can be opened or closed making these rooms ideal for couples traveling together or parents traveling with children who desire some privacy.

The Rose Room and Kelly Room combo have their own bathroom. All rooms include a full breakfast consisting of a selection of cereals, fresh seasonal fruits, homemade breads, muffins, scones and jams and a hot breakfast dish. Served between 7:30-9am (or earlier upon request).

Tracey’s Haven
Tracey's Haven is our largest suite with a queen bed, sitting area, couch, and cable television. The Haven has a private ensuite bathroom. Ideal for a romantic weekend get-away! All rooms include a full breakfast consisting of a selection of cereals, fresh seasonal fruits, homemade breads, muffins, scones and jams and a hot breakfast dish. Served between 7:30-9am (or earlier upon request).

High-speed internet access is available for the use of our guests.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Interac debit cards. Gift certificates are also available for purchase.

The Tea Room
The Crane's Landing Tea Room is open everyday (except Sunday) for lunch between July 1st and Labour Day from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. Reservations are not necessary, but are strongly recommended. If there is a traditional Island favourite (like Janice’s excellent fishcakes and homemade beans, or a ham and scallop potato lunch) that you’d like as our special that day, suggestions are welcome a day or two prior to your visit... we’ll always do our best!

We are also available for booking of private functions with minimum seating of 10 to a maximum of 27 people. And can be available for wedding photos and receptions in April-May and September-October. In addition, we have a variety of baked goods available for sale upon prior request.

Janice’s seasonal fruit pies are always a favourite. Home grown berries and a scoop of whipped cream or homemade ice-cream is a great way to finish off any meal, or a perfect pit-stop with a cup of tea on your way to visit some of our beautiful Island attractions.
