Welcome to Charlotte's Rose Inn! This Victorian home constructed in 1884 has been restored and furnished to provide modern amenities yet still reflect its original character. We are located only two blocks from the centre of historic Charlottetown, an easy walk to parks, museums, art galleries, theatres, restaurants, shops and two quite different waterfronts. We are a scenic half-hour drive to Cavendish, Rustico and the beautiful beaches of the north shore. Over a dozen golf courses are within 45 minutes drive. Charlotte's Rose Inn Highlights

Charlotte's Rose Inn Accommodation

We offer a total of five guests rooms all of which have ensuite bathrooms. Each of the four second floor rooms can sleep up to two guests in either queen, king or twin beds. They feature unique decor, period antique furnishings and seating for two. Breakfast is included for our guests staying in these rooms.

Our Loft Housekeeping Suite occupies the whole of the third floor of the house. It comprises one queen bedroom, one single bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a small bathroom with tub and shower over, a kitchen and a private roof-top deck. We do not provide breakfast for guests in this suite - though we do provide tea/coffee, milk/cream and cereals in its kitchen. The suite can accommodate up to five guests.

We live in our own suite of rooms on the first floor at the rear of the house.

Confederation
Featuring a raised queen four-poster bed and an ensuite bathroom with single Jacuzzi tub and shower over, this bedroom has a large bay window. Furnishings include two wing-backed chairs and an Edwardian dressing table.

Jacques Cartier
This pleasant room features a queen bed, two wicker arm chairs and an Eastlake dresser. The large, ensuite bathroom has a footed Victorian bathtub with an overhead shower.

William Henry Pope
Offering two twin beds or one king bed, this room is at the side of the house. The ensuite bathroom has a tub with shower over. Furnishings feature an Eastlake dresser and two wing chairs.

John Hamilton Gray
Featuring its own private hallway, this bedroom is at the rear of the house. Furnishings include a 1900's headboard, a moustache dresser and two cane chairs. The ensuite bathroom has a tub with shower over.

Loft Suite
Occupying the whole of the third floor of the house, this suite can accommodate up to five guests. It has a queen bedroom, a single bedroom and a living room with a queen sofa-bed. A small bathroom with tub and shower over, a kitchen and a private, roof-top deck complete the suite. As the suite and the roof-top deck are not child-proofed, it is not suitable for children under about 10 years of age. This suite is only offered without breakfast but we do provide tea/coffee, milk/cream and cereals in the suite's kitchen.

Complimentary tea, coffee and cookies are available in the Parlour. A fridge is available for guest use and a second fridge is stocked with complimentary bottled water. We have a guest PC and our wireless internet works throughout the house. All bedrooms have TV, DVD player, telephone and ensuite bathrooms. Air conditioning & ceiling fans. Lockable bicycle shed. Beach towels, beach chairs and golf umbrellas available. Use of Laundry Facilities and Fax/Copier service upon request.

Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am. We offer a fruit course, a hot entree and home baking - in addition to cereals, yogurts, fruit juices, teas, coffee and iced water. Home made cookies, teas, coffee & hot chocolate are always available in the front parlour.
