Welcome! During your busy summer vacation on PEI, come spend some relaxing and quality family time at Millstream Cottages and Motel! We are located in beautiful Brackley Beach, right in the heart of Prince Edward Island's North Shore Tourist Region. We will do our best to make your family's vacation at Millstream Cottages & Motel a time for pleasant memories. Millstream Cottages and Motel Accommodation Our 2 and a half Star rated 14 housekeeping cottages and 5 overnight motel units are nestled beside a tranquil mill-pond where you may fish from the bank or from one of the boats provided for our guests.

Why not take a dip in our heated swimming pool? Nearby, you'll also find a supermarket, lobster suppers, gift shops, tennis courts, beaches, deep sea fishing, drag racing, stock car races, drive-in theatre and several beautiful golf courses!

Cottages:

King Bedroom Cottage
Millstream Cottages added a new cottage in August 2008. With a beautiful view of the pond, it is sure to delight all visitors. It features one bedroom with a king size bed. There is lots of room to stretch out!

One Bedroom Cottage
Six one bedroom cottages are available for rental. Our cottages are perfect for couples or for a small family. The one bedroom cottages were recently renovated on the inside.

Two Bedroom Cottages
Millstream Cottages and Motel has eight two bedroom cottages available for rental. Recently renovated, they are bright and fresh. There is lots of sleeping space for your group or family. The cottages have beautiful views of the pond and the property. They are sure to please everyone!

The Motel
For those that are not interested in a cottage our five overnight motel units are also available. Each unit is electrically heated. The motel has two types of rooms. The details are listed below.

Our Area
Our area is filled with many exciting things to do and see. From golfing to fishing to trail rides to indulging in a delicious lobster supper, Brackley Beach is bound to satisfy your vacationing needs!

Location
Our cottages and motel are ideally located to allow you to explore the many facets of our Island, the smallest province of Canada. Only minutes away is Charlottetown, the Capital City and Birthplace of Canada, and home of the Confederation Centre of the Arts featuring the famous Anne of Green Gables musical play.

Harness racing at the popular Charlottetown Driving Park, also known as The Kentucky of Canada, is close by. And so is the Prince Edward Island National Park, with many natural features and learning opportunities to explore, including Brackley Beach, Stanhope Beach, Greenwich, and of course Cavendish, the home of Anne of Green Gables.

About Millstream Cottages
In 1980, two Dutch dairy farm families immigrated to PEI. Looking back, we are grateful to our parents for making this beautiful Island our home. In the spring of 2001, we purchased Millstream Cottages and Motel. Today, with some hired help and that of our four boys, Lukas, Alexander, Patrick and Corey, we operate the property ourselves.

The MacCallum Family milled raw lumber in the sawmill at the bottom of the stream on the Millstream Cottages property about 50-60 years ago. The mill was powered by water from the pond. At a later date a diesel engine was added. Our neighbors, Millstream Trail Rides and Millstream Family Restaurant, also carry the historic Millstream name. To this date, the sawmill provides the dam for our pond. Although in disrepair, it can be viewed if you spend time with us.

We live on the property all year round and have been hard at work to renovate the motel, cottages and surrounding gardens. When you drive in, you will notice our new flower gardens. If you stay in our motel, you will notice the make-over, the complementary coffee, new fridge and microwave.

Some cottages have also seen a make-over and some new decks. While the children enjoy the playhouse with sandbox and toys, everyone enjoys a calm evening fire by the fire pits. The most important qualities are cleanliness and friendliness and we believe we have those.

Directions
From Charlottetown and the Confederation Bridge
As you leave the Confederation Bridge, take Highway #1 (Trans Canada) east to Charlottetown - 40 minutes. Turn left, at the Calvary Temple, on to Route #2 West and then take your first right on to Route #2 East (Bypass Highway) and follow it until you reach Route #15 (Brackley Point Road) - 7 minutes. Turn left on to Route #15 and drive toward Brackley Beach until you reach Millstream Cottages and Motel - 10 minutes.
