Reviews of GV Hotel in Mactan Philippines

GV Hotel is nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. The room was clean and it was equipped with air condition, and a cold shower. However, I saw a mouse when I came back from dinner and I would strongly advice not to leave food in the room, not even packed ones. The hotel offers a free WiFi and the staff was friendly. GV is not a fancy place, but I would stay here again.

When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. The guard called the lady on duty. She was polite and courteous. I had asked for a matrimonial bed and the linen was too thin, pillows were good, firm but soft and the floor was dusty. Room also has a window with vey thin curtain. The toilet was clean and it is perfect for backpackers

This hotel is located in Lapu Lapu, about 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. This is a budget hotel with a nicely presented website. The website was the best part about this place. I took a Standard room and was presented with a dirty looking room with bare walls, a thin bed and a bathroom that had ants crawling all over it. They did however offer free WiFi in the lobby only.
