Reviews of Maison Ambre Guest House in Windhoek Namibia

The B&B is well-situated a little outside of the city centre. But since Windhoek is not really a mega-city, the city centre and its main attractions are within walking-distance. A couple of restaurants, small supermarkets, shops and petrol stations are also very close to the B&B.

The B&B as such is located in a nice and quiet area, so you won't have to worry about any noise. The owners are very nice and can provide recommendations about things to see/do in the area. The rooms are very clean and offer more than sufficient space. Breakfast offered is really excellent.

Maison Ambre is situated in Klein Windhoek which is a quiet suburb of Windhoek. The staff and owner were welcoming from the outset. Rooms are clean and tidy. They were totally flexible with our breakfast and departure time, very helpful with recommendations for local eating. All in all a pleasant experience for which I would recommend to others.

We spent one night in June 2012 in this guest house and all in all it was quite ok. The room was small, but functional. Unfortunately, the heater is good but not much and it was quite cold at night and uncomfortable.

The owners were very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was really with all kinds of meat, eggs, bread, fruit, cereal and fresh juice, coffee and tea very well. We found the accommodation price in view of the fact that neither cable television nor Wi-Fi worked really is too expensive.

A nice little guest house in Klein Windhoek, almost a secret. A place to let your mind wander to tune into the upcoming trip or a place of rest and respite after a single tour ... Cosy rooms to stay and the specially structured Outdoor facilities invite the guest to relax.

A very charming hostess pampers guests and gives them a sense of home. I am looking forward to come in August and September this year to be allowed to return there.
