Reviews of Furstenhof Hotel in Windhoek Namibia

I arrive at about 3 in the morning without having made a bookings prior but was still given a very nice room. I even got a complementratr one night’s stay when I stayed longer than planned. Warm and pleasant staff makes this Hotel recommended.

Great service was provided to us by this hotel. As soon as we arrived I asked if they had a room for us since we hadn’t pre-booked. The very friendly staff assisted us and in no time we had a room and were checked in. Neat rooms coupled with excellent breakfast I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice staff, rooms are nothing special, food is nice but could do with more options such as snacks and cocktails.

The location is nice, being just 250 – 300 meters away from Winhill Park Shopping Centre.
Localization is great, just some 250/300 meters from winhill park shopping centre. There are some good restaurants near the hotel, though I would suggest visitors give the Hotel meals a try. Their cheesecake for desert is delicious!

I have become accustomed to some fantastic hospitality across Africa and sadly I found it lacking here. While the hotel itself was fine no one seemed to go that extra mile. Perhaps they were understaffed - the rooms were perfectly alright but things like getting water from the bar or towels from the pool seemed to be an issue.
