Reviews of Namib Desert Lodge in Sossusvlei Namibia

We spent 2 nights at the lodge and really enjoyed it! The rooms are very nice and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food it was delicious! The waiter was very courteous, even the receptionists were of great help (we had a flat tire and a broken rim and allowed to make calls even free) As we were always out during the day, we could use the system with the beautiful pool area is really , and the Sunset Drive we omitted due to time constraints. This lodge was certainly one of the highlights of our tour in Namibia.

The lodge is quite average, large and buses of tour groups are dumped here, which also brings a certain unease in the Lodge. Given the number of people the food in the lodge is in buffet style, served in the mornings and evenings, the food itself was not that good but edible. The abundant staff was busy and polite. The rooms were average, but clean. Overall, we had already experienced significantly better lodges.

The lodge standards are world class, the staff and management were very companionable and helpful. The entire lodge is clean and well maintained, we highly recommend this place. The guide from the hotel was charming and informative.
