Best Place In Rundu |
| WOW! I think is the best place to stay in Rundu.
People are friendly(altough a now and then/Everything OK!\check
on guests will do!). The rooms is just amazing. Big, spacious (exept
for a broken toilet that was fixed while we move in), tv, mosquito
nets and best of all the River View (Oh and when you and your wife
start cuddling - draw the CURTAINS(workers is always around!)).In
general, best place to stay although a special rate for Namibians
will make it perfect! Food is awesome (seems like the waitresses
can guide you through the menu). On the bad side is the parking
area. I prefer to park my car in front of my bungalow/chalet etc
and not 20m(due to space shortage) away.Oh! like I said before one
don't need to ask for when will the next boat trip be( I always
believe it's the duty of the owners to inform guests about each
and every little thing available!!!).Cheers. |

7km east of Rundu |
| 7 km east of Rundu on the D3402 the road leading
to just before the lodge is paved. The chalets overlooking the river
and the opposite shore of Angola are clean, spacious and tidy. The
area is fenced and guarded at night the camp sites (about 10) are
in the second row behind the chalets and have no direct view of
the river. The sites are close together and there is no privacy.

We will be returning
to Kaisosi |
| We spent a week at Kaisosi, we had booked for three
nights but due to the good facilities we decided to stay longer
and sort out a few problems with our vehicle. The staff was friendly
and knowledgeable, even wading-in to help us with our problems and
disposing of the waste that we generated in the process. The campsite
boasts private ablution blocks for each site, is very clean, grassy
and nicely shaded. The restaurant/bar area is great and the pool
is nicely situated and clean. We will be returning to Kaisosi. |
