Reviews of Ichingo Chobe River Lodge in Caprivi Strip Namibia

The lodge is set on the shores of the Chobe River, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts and the staff, and they were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. We felt at home from the moment we got here to the moment we left.

The lodge is small and intimate with only eight tents overlooking the river and we were accompanied by a guide for our walks in the surrounding countryside, motor boat on the river or on a cruise. The lodge is peaceful and tranquil, wildlife is abundant along this river and the river is between two countries Botswana and Namibia. The food was excellent and well prepared.

Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is located on the river bank of the Chobe River and the main road into Kasane Botswana is visible from the lodge, the lodge is lovely and boosts of a plunge pool, bar on the main deck, dining area and sitting area.

The rooms are modern and equipped with all the necessary facilities, the extra-large beds looked comfy. The lodge has two safari boats, I stayed in one of the boats, and the Molli the four bedroomed boat which sleeps eight was amazing. We spent two nights on the boat and sailed along the Chobe National Park and we saw a lot of game and birds. The meals were delicious and creatively prepared by the crew members.
