Reviews of Radisson Blu Hotel in Maputo Mozambique

This Hotel is fairly new, and is a great one, indeed there is still renovations on the go, but nothing too bad. Staff seem to be always hyper and excited, and never mind to help. The revolving door in the lobby is unfortunately one of the things they are still working on, so there is a man manually revolving it as the guests come and go. I really like the room designs, There is a view from the top of the room to the bottom of the bay, it is really spacious and open. There was good WIFI connection. And the beds, well I must say so far best in Africa that I can recall of. The showers were a bit messy, tiles were laid wrong, but the water had an excellent pressure.

There are South African, European and UK plugs available. There was new towels, soft and comfy, and the tv had several channels to choose from and the lighting was great and the air con was working. Then it was time for breakfast !! There was such a big variety of excellent food, from Portuguese tarts to bacon and eggs and there was European chefs making the best of pastas. The pool could use a bit of privacy for the shy ones… The gym was incomplete at the stage, there wasn’t much equipment yet. The beach is just a stones throw away, it’s not used for swimming in as the water is polluted and beach not clean, but it’s nice to have a jog there.
