Reviews of Bali Hai Lodge in Barra Beach Mozambique

Hehe Electricity has given problems all over and here is one of the places. There is no electricity but fear not, they do have a generator. This place is great, we loved it here, the restaurant is so great that people not even staying in the lodge que up just to eat there, now you must know how fantastic their food is. Candles in the room, would be very romantic, but unfortunately for the irresponsible people who can't make sure not to burn anything down, we are not allowed to light up candles n the rooms. No matter what it is you want, the owners always manages to please you. This is our preferred holiday destination!!!

This place is just perfect, not too big and crowded and also not to lonesome. The place is neat and clean and it has great views as well. I can imagine that this place was very busy at a time, it's a pity there are so many other lodges that have been built and are still in progress. Now there was one problem that wasn't really the lodges fault; there was a 3 day power cut, they didn't have a generator ready so all of us were given 1 candle, which is fair but not enough for all the things you want to do, no the things you NEED to do. With out power, equals no water too, so we had to go shower some place else, they didn't even offer a bucket of water to clean ourselves or anything else, and this was going on for 3 days. uh uh not good.
