Sarah Guest House was established in 1988 in Chiang Mai Thailand. Sarah Guest House has been open in Chiang Mai since 1988, operating from the same location and run by the same owner/manager. At least 50% of our guests are repeat visitors or recommended by friends.

We are situated in a quiet location in the centre of Chiang Mai, a 5 minute walk from the Night Bazaar and Tapae Gate. Our central location means that all the main attractions in the town are within walking distance. However it is located in a small lane off the main road so that even though it's in the middle of town, it is quiet and peaceful.

The guesthouse provides clean & safe accommodation for the budget traveller. We have fan rooms and A/C rooms. We are in one of the best locations in Chiang Mai. There is also an information service for trekking and touring in the North of Thailand. We have all kinds of day tours, a variety of treks, as well as Thai cookery courses.

Directions to Sarah Guest House

By Air:
Domestic airlines (Thai Airways International, Bangkok Airways, Air Asia, Orient Thai Airlines and Nok Air ) operate several daily flights between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. A one-way flight takes about one hour.

By Bus:
Several ordinary and air-conditioned buses leaving daily from Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal (also known as Mo Chit) on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road.

By Train:
Express and rapid trains leave for Chiang Mai from Hualamphong Station several times daily and the trip takes about 11-12 hours for express trains. It is highly recommended to reserve seats well in advance, especially for sleepers.
