Modest Home

The Christian Guest Home is a family Hotel located at the Gulf of Thailand and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. We have 7 guest rooms each with a double bed and with additional mattresses available, this enables us to host up to 18 people.

At the Christian Guest Home our guests will find a home away from home. You can enjoy the warm ambience, the tranquil setting, and the long sandy beaches, or you can find adventure through a variety of excursions and activities. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

The Christian Guest Home is a townhouse situated in a beautiful, quiet community. The Christian Bookshop and Café are situated on the ground floor, and each of the 3 guest rooms are located on their own level, ensuring privacy and comfort. The swimming pool is located directly across from the Christian Guest Home on the other side of the small lane. Between 8 pm and 7 am there will not be any onsite staff in the house, except for the time of your arrival.

Beach

Miles and miles of sandy beaches are inviting for a walk, a swim or a retreat of tranquility. South of Khao Takiab you will find a 6 km long sandy beach leading to the village of Khao Tao. There is a beach restaurant and a camp site on the way. During the week the camp site is hardly frequented and you have free access to shade on the beach. Hua Hin is located north of Khao Takiab and is reachable within a one hour walk. There is hardly any shade along this beach. Kite boarders meet here

Directions to Christian Guesthome

Plane
Visitors from abroad can fly to the primary airport of Bangkok. Direct flights are scheduled into Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport, from many main airports around the world. You can also have a connecting flight from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Hua Hin around 45 minutes by plane. The other option in getting is to take a bus, mini bus, train, taxi, car and limousine. Generally Hua Hin town, is 230 kilometres southwest of Bangkok which is a 3 hour drive. Arriving from Hua Hin Airport you can take a van, tuk tuk, or taxi going to the hotel. It is a 15 minute drive from Hua Hin downtown.

Bus and Mini Bus
Hourly bus services are available from Southern Bus Terminal. You can take either an air conditioned or non air conditioned buses which ply the route from Southern Bus Terminal to Srasong Road in Hua Hin. Some of these buses will take you further south like the adjoining district of Pranburi and Petchburi. Passengers to Hua Hin get down at the Clock Tower located at the heart of town. Reservation is required to secure seats and must be book in person. In Bangkok, minibuses start from Ratchawitee Hospital near the Victory Monument. Minibuses unload passengers in a site off Petchkasem Road in the centre of town. Buses fare range from THB 160 to THB 200. The Bangkok to Hua Hin buses stop at Hua Hin downtown market. Take a tuk tuk taxi to our resort. The Bangkok to Prachuap buses stop in front of our resort. The stop is called "Hua Hin Market Village.

Taxi or Car
You can also flag down taxi or hire a car and drive all the way to Hua Hin. There are two routes from Bangkok to Hua Hin. The shorter one is along Thonburi-Paktho Road, via Samut Songkhram, Petchkasem Highway and along the route to Prachuab Khirikhan. The longer one is via Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi and Petchaburi. Fare is around THB 3000. The Bangkok to Hua Hin vans stop in front of our resort. The stop is called "Hua Hin Market Village".

By Trains
Train is a safer and comfortable way to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok. Trains run from Hua Lum Pong Railway Station in Bangkok to the historic Hua Hin railway station. Both stations can be reached easily.
