Directions to the passenger terminal - N-Shed - at Durban Harbour

From Pietermaritzburg (Johannesburg to Harbour)
Take the N3 to Durban; you will come to a fork in the road – take ”City” exit (not beach).
When you come to the first set of robots, turn right into Grey Street.
Cross over West and Smith Street (Grey Street becomes Broad Street).
When you get to the end (T-junction), turn left into Victoria Embankment (Esplanade).
Follow this road until you get to the sixth set of robots (to your left should be Stanger Street and to your right should be Quayside Road).
Turn right into Quayside Road – go through security (boom gates), follow MSC Cruises signposts to the N-Shed.

From the North Coast
Take the Northern Freeway M4 (Freeway which runs along the beach). You will get to a set of robots that go over Argyle Road, carry on straight.
Go past Durban Drive Inn, C R Swart Police Station; Cross over Somtseu, Old Fort Road, Ordane, Pine Street, West, Smith Street.
The next set of robots after Smith Street turn right into Victoria Embankment (Esplanade).
At the first set of robots turn left into Quayside Road – go through security (boom gates), follow signposts to the N-Shed.

From the South Coast Following the M4 Freeway, take the Victoria Embankment (Esplanade) off ramp.
Follow the Embankment till you get to a set of robots where Stanger Street in on your left and Quayside on your right.
Turn right into Quayside – go through security (boom gates), follow MSC Cruises signposts to the N-Shed.

GPS Co-ordinates: 29° 52' 10.18"S, 31° 01' 54.85"E

Parking There is secure car parking available on a first come first served basis at R100.00 per vehicle per day. This parking is within 30 meters of the embarkation terminal (N-shed) and has 24 hour security guards and camera surveillance.

Directions to E-Berth Passenger Terminal - Port of Cape Town

From Cape Town International Airport - Follow the directions to the N2 Cape Town,

- Travel on the N2 towards Cape Town, please keep in the right hand lanes as far as possible
- From Nelson Mandela Boulevard(N2) take the second exit into the city to the first Robot.
- Turn right at the robot into Christian Barnard Street.
- Keep left until the last robot. Drive straight until you get to the security booms.
- Turn left at the stop street into Duncan Road and drive along for +/- 500m until you get to a three way stop (Duncan and Old Duncan Road)
- Turn right into Old Duncan Road. And immediately left into the entrance gate at E-Berth Passenger Terminal.
From the N1
- Drive on the N1 onto Table Bay Boulevard
- Take the exit into the City onto Zonnebloem
- Keep right
- Turn right at the first robot into Christian Barnard Street and continue straight into the Port until the security booms
- Turn left at the stop street after you passed the security booms into Duncan Road and drive along Duncan Road until you get to a three way stop (Duncan and Old Duncan Road)
- Turn right into Old Duncan Road. And immediately left into the entrance gate at E-Berth Passenger Terminal.
From the R27
- Drive along Marine Drive on the R27 in the direction of the City
- Turn right at the robot after the Caltex Garage
- Drive for about +/- 300 m until you get the security booms
- After you passed the security booms drive for about 500m until you get to a T-Junction
- Turn left into Duncan Road
- Continue driving following the directions along Duncan Road for about 5km.
- At the last stop street Duncan and Old Duncan Road turn to your right into E-Berth.
