Places to visit:
Oom Samie se Winkel:

Oom Samie se Winkel means "Uncle Samie's Shop" in Afrikaans.
At this famous old shop, you will find anything South African including wines from the local wine estates, antiques, sweets, jams, furniture and curios to take home. The shop has been trading since 1904 and not much has changed since!

Stellenbosch Village Museum:
The Stellenbosch Village Museum comprises of four historical houses and gardens: The Schreuderhuis - built in 1709; Blettermanhuis - built in 1789; Grosvenor House - built in 1782 and O.M. BERGH.
Each house has its own unique story to tell.

The Toy and Miniature Museum is a world of enchantment with a collection of 1:12 scale miniatures, room boxes, miniature houses, antique dolls, cars, cuddly toys and others.
Other interesting stops are “The V.O.C Kruithuis” & Erfurthuis, displaying Stellenbosch and its history.

Dorp Street Theatre Café:
Well known and attended by the ‘locals’, at the very informal Dorpstreet Theater Café you will experience raw South African talent. Depending on the programme, you may experience anything from Poetry to Hard Rock or Afrikaans to African sounds.

Jan Marais Nature Reserve:
Not even a 2 min walk from Labri Manor, you will find this park in the heart of Stellenbosch. Labri offers hearty picnic baskets to enjoy in the lovely surroundings. Enquire at Labri Manor’s Front Desk.

Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens:
