The beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms with private patios offer panoramic views allowing the beauty of the surroundings to be enjoyed from the comfort of your room.
The cozy bedroom fireplaces are a perfect place to snuggle up with a book on chilly winter nights.

TWIN SUITES (10):
Duplex twin rooms follows through an arch formation, each with its own unique colonial style. The spacious lounge area down stairs and a separate bathroom creates a feeling of privacy with nature at your doorstep.
Following up the flight of stairs to the loft, you will find two single beds submerging you into a relaxing atmosphere.
(Only 4 of the suites have a sleeper couch in the lounge area. Extra singe beds are available for children on arrangement) TV, SABC 1, 2, 3 and ETV and a selection of 9 DSTV channels.

KING SUITES (14):
Unique open-plan bedroom and seating area provide a “home away from home” feeling with the king size bed draped in down feathered duvet. Flowing into a colonial style furnished lounge area and an en-suite bathroom.

THE EXECUTIVE SUITE (1):
This suite entails an open plan bar and lounge area with a separate bedroom, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet.
Both lounge and bedroom lead through glass double doors, which flow onto the private patio. The mini bar (available upon request) and a private dining area add to the peace and tranquility of the magnificent setting.

At the main lodge cocktail hour is an event in the 'Potted Owl' before dining in the Chandelier Restaurant where the world-class gourmet menus are complimented by exceptional service.

For the leisure guest there is plenty to keep you occupied. Apart from visiting the many sights of the area there is also superb hiking, mountain biking along trails through thick indigenous forests, trout fishing and forest picnics.
For birding enthusiasts Mount Sheba is a 'Mecca'. Internationally known Peter Lawson conducts regular birding outings in the area which is renowned for its bird life.

Activities available on the property are trout fishing, a game of tennis, squash, sauna or a walk on the wild side.
The day finally ends with a touch of elegance in the "Owl and Trout" bar and gourmet dinner served with fine wine complimented by meticulous service and hospitality in the dining room, promising an unforgettable experience.

Lodge Facilities And Service

The hotel can also accommodate function groups from 20-80.
For any special dietary requirements, please discuss it prior to arrival to ensure that your request can be granted.
We prefer to quote for individual conferences or groups according to your company requirements.
Accommodation in 25 well-defined rooms with a maximum of 50 guests (sharing).

FUNCTION VENUES
Function Venues are available for Weddings, Gala Dinners and Product launches.
A natural rain forest surrounds Mount Sheba and ceremonies take place in the forest at a beautiful spot about 200m away from the hotel, under a gazebo with guests gathering around the wedding couple.
Mount Sheba does not allow anyone to take chairs into the forest, as it upsets the forest bed.
The signing of the register takes place inside the hotel, as law does not allow the register to be sign in the open air.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS:
The Chandelier Restaurant:
Dinner is a four course set menu. Enjoy candlelit dinners and a fine selection of wines.
Hacketts Poolside Restaurant:
Breakfast is served between 7h30 – 9h30 from a buffet or an A la Carte menu. Light lunches are served off the Terrace Menu at the Pool or in the lounge.
The Owl and Trout Bar:
This bar has a wonderfully warm atmosphere and has its own fireplace.
The Prospector Bar:
Situated adjacent to the swimming pool.
