Meerkat Manor Guest House is situated in the town of Komatipoort, destination for tourists from all over the world who need accommodation on their way to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland.

A brand new guesthouse, with emphasis on a Bushveld atmosphere, whilst still enjoying comfort and upmarket facilities. Our views are second to none, with Kruger Park and Mozambique in plain sight and treetops surrounding us, this feels like another world.

Stopover at Meerkat Manor Guest House in Komatipoort and feel the peace and quiet of the mountain spreading over you. Sit on the veranda and gaze at the Game reserve, with giraffe, buffalo, impala and the occasional elephant in plain view. From sunset the snorting of the hippos can be heard, and at dawn the rushing of the Croc River's waters mingle with the early calls of the many birds at home here.

Facilities include 7 air-conditioned double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a family unit, (sleeping up to 4) which is self catering with a kitchenette, full bathroom, 1 separate bedroom, DSTV in sitting room and a big private veranda. We can accommodate maximum 18 people.

Self-catering apartment with a large open area where there is a lounge, dining area, kitchen area and a queen size bed. There is a separate room with 2 single beds. Also a Bathroom with shower
and bath. Private entrance with verandah. Private BBQ area. Please note there is no stove in this unit and that the unit can only sleep 4 people.

By Car from Gauteng:

Follow the N4 from Gauteng to Nelspruit, Malelane, Hectorspruit and Komatipoort
Travelling from Nelspruit on N4, turn left opposite SASOL service station on R571 to Komatipoort
Turn right into Bok street. (1st street after 3-way stop, next to SPAR complex / Caltex service station)
Continue with Bok street and turn left into Bosbok street
Meerkat Manor is at number 11 Bosbok street (fourth house on the right) .

The road to the estabslishment is: Tar and accesible in a Normal Sedan Vehicle.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly place, about 15 minutes from the Crocodile bridge gate. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived a day earlier than our reservation - but instead of turning us away, they were able to accommodate us. We fell in love with their dog Jinx. Close to restaurants, Spar and the Mozambique border. Will stay there again.

The room was on the top floor and we could see into Kruger. It was a really beautiful view to wake up to in the morning! Room was new and very clean. We only stayed one night (a last minute choice to add an extra day- no room at our previous hotel) but it is a definite option for travelers. Would like them to add a restaurant/food services and perhaps a pool as they grow; this property has potential. Recommended stay.

My wife and I spent two nights either side of a trip to Mozambique at Meerkat Manor. It was really outstanding and Ronnie went out of his way to accommodate us. There is free wifi and a good selection of Movies and television to relax to. The braai facilities were provided and Ronnie helped us with all the utensils and plates we required. The Manor is only a short drive, some 9 km's or so, from the Crocodile River entrance to the Kruger Park.

I'd recommend Meerkat Manor to anyone.
