Orchards Farm cottages are situated in a litchi and mango orchard on the banks of the Komati River just off the N4 en route to the Mozambique Lebombo border post.
While the atmosphere is rustic, the town of Komatipoort and the Lebombo border post are only a 5 minute drive away, and a 10 minute drive to the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park.

Orchards Farm Cottages Accommodation

There are 7 self catering cottages that are serviced daily and equipped with DSTV Hotel Suite, a kitchenette with a two-plate stove, fridges, microwave ovens, cutlery, crockery, bed linen, towels, toiletries, tea / sugar / coffee, lounge area with TV, overhead fans and air-conditioning. Cottages also have private braai facilities and a covered patio.
Cottage 1
Accommodates 2 guests and has air conditioning, microwave oven, hot plate, private BBQ and either a double or twin beds.
Cottage 2
Accommodates 3 guests and has air conditioning, gas stove with oven, microwave oven, private BBQ, DStv with cartoons network, a fridge and either a double bed or twin beds which are requested upon booking. A sleeper couch in the lounge is suitable for an adult.
Cottage 3
Has twin beds and accommodates 2 guests. Also has air conditioning, microwave oven, hotplate, private BBQ, fridge and DStv.
Cottage 4
Accommodates 2 adults and 2 children and has ai conditioning, private BBQ, hot plate, DStv with cartoon channel, microwave oven and a fridge.
Adults can request either a double bed or twin twin beds upon booking, the second bedroom has bunk beds for children and a sleeper couch can be requested for a third child.
Cottage 5
Accommodates 2 guests and has air conditioning, private BBQ, hotplate,DStv, microwave oven and a fridge. Guests can request either a double bed or twin beds.
Cottage 6
Accommodates 2 guests and is a tiled cottage with either a double bed or twin beds and has air conditioning, private BBQ, electric stove with oven, DStv, microwave oven and a fridge.
Cottage 7
Accommodates 2 guests and is a tiled cottage with with either a double bed or twin beds and has air conditioning, private BBQ, electric stove with oven, DStv, microwave oven and a fridge.

How To Get To Orchards Farm Cottages

Directions from Johannesburg / Tswane via N4
100 km east from Nelspruit, 50 km from Malelane and 28 km after Hectorspruit. When you get to the turn-off to the town of Komatipoort DO NOT TURN OFF THE N4!
We are 1 km from the turnoff and the SASOL garage, and a few meters after the Komati River Bridge. As you get to the end of the bridge, put your left indicator on and prepare to turn left between the white walls with the Orchards Farm Cottages signage.
Follow the signs for Orchards Farm Cottages to the left until you reach the carport. Follow Reception signs to the front of the main building.

Directions from Kruger National Park Crocodile Bridge Gate
The town of Komatipoort is 11 km from the Kruger Park Crocodile Bridge exit. Drive straight through the town until you get to the N4.
At the N4, turn LEFT toward the Mozambique border post od Ressano Garcia. We are 1 km from the turnoff and the SASOL garage, and a few meters after the Komati River Bridge.
As you get to the end of the bridge, put your left indicator on and prepare to turn left between the white walls with the Orchards Farm Cottages signage.
Follow the signs for Orchards Farm Cottages to the left until you reach the carport. Follow Reception signs to the front of the main building.

Directions from the Mozambique border post
Drive approximately 3 km down the N4, past the turn-off left to Mananga / Swaziland. On the bend in the road look out for the Hippo sign on the left - the entrance to Orchards Farm Cottages is directly opposite on the right.
This is an 80 km/per hour zone, but a number of drivers seem to ignore this, so please take care to put your car's indicators on well before the bend.
