Ngwenya River Lodges is situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park making it a perfect spot for many attractions.
Bird life is abundant with around 300 diverse species and game ca be spotted when animal come to drink from the river.

Ngwenya River Lodges Accommodation

Syndicate Chalets
This double storey duplex unit accommodates 10 people and has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, granite tops and a microwave.
It also has an open plan to the spacious lounge and dining area, the lounge leads out to the verandah with patio chairs, table and braai facilities and the lounge has a TV with a twin sleeper couch.

The 2 bedroom downstairs have twin single beds and 2 full bathrooms and 1 includes a tumble dryer and a washing machine.
Upstairs guests will find 2 bedrooms with a king size bed with 2 en-suite bathrooms - 1 with a shower and another 1 with a bath/shower and a small patio. Included with this chalet is 3 carports and an air conditioner.

8 Sleeper Chalets
The chalet overlook the river and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a shower and a bath.The main bedroom is equipped with a queen bed whilst the other rooms have twin single beds.
The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, fridge/freezer and an open plan dining room and lounge that lead to the verandah with patio chairs, a table and braai facilities. There is also air conditioning , fans and 2 carports.
There are additional 5 double storey chalets with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs with a bath and a seperate shower. Upstairs is an open loft with twin beds and a seperate bedroom with twin beds also.

6 Sleeper Chalets
The chalet overlooks the river and has 2 bedrooms with the main bedroom having a queen bed and a second room with twin single beds and 2 bathrooms.
The lounge has a sleeper couch, TV and leads out to the undercover verandah that has a patio with chairs, tables and a braai. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave and stove. There is also air conditioning and a dedicated carport.

4 Sleeper Chalets
The chalets has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower. There are also 2 seperate bedrooms that have twin beds and a bathroom also with a bath and overhead shower.
Included is a fully equipped kitchen that has a stove, microwave,fridge/freezer and there is air conditioning, fans and a carport. The TV and the double sleeper couch can be found in the lounge.

How To Get To Ngwenya River Lodges

By Car from Gauteng
Follow the N4 from Gauteng to Nelspruit, Malelane, Hectorspruit and Komatipoort. From Komatipoort follow the tar road towards Crocodile Bridge Gate.
Turn left at the Ngwenya Lodge and Marloth Park signboards and follow the dirt road for 6km to the entrance to Ngwenya on the right hand side. Total drive time is around 4.5h.
By Air
There are scheduled daily flights from Johannesburg (OR Tambo International Airport) and Cape Town to KMIA just outside Nelspruit. Car hire facilities (Avis, Imperial, Hertz) are available at the airport. The drive time from KMIA to Ngwenya is about 60 minutes.
