Buckler's Africa Lodge is a self catering accommodation and an oasis with scenic views from the edge of the Kruger National Park.
We are situated on the bank of the Crocodile River and we have an abundance of beautiful gardens and bushes.
The Mozambique coast or the mountains of Swaziland are both a little more than an hour’s drive.

Bucklers Africa Lodge Accommodation

Our guests have a choice of renting the standard room with no self-catering facilities, 3 options of self-catering units or they can have exclusive use of the entire property.
Exclusive Use of the Property
Accommodation in this case is limited to 6 children and a maximum of 16 adults. The property bedrooms can be configured into 6 main bedrooms comprising of either 3 twin beds or 3 queen sized beds OR 8 main bedrooms comprising of either 4 twin beds or 4 queen size beds and an open loft bedroom with 2 single beds.

There are 6 or 8 bathrooms with 3 outside showers, 3 lounges with sleeper couches for kids, TV with satellite, exclusive use of pool / gardens, 3 large patios with seated dining tables and spectacular views of the Kruger National park and the Crocodile River.

Self-Catering Unit 1
The unit has 2 en-suite bedrooms equipped with either twin beds or queen size bed and a bush bathroom with a shower.
The unit has air conditioning, a large thatched dining patio, kitchen, open loft bedroom with 2 single beds, lounge with a double sleeper couch for children, satellite TV and it sleeps 6 adult guests and 2 children. Guests can be relaxed by the stunning views of the Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River.

Self-Catering Unit 2
This unit accommodates 2 adult guests and 2 children, it has a main bedroom upstairs fitted with a single bed and a queen size bed and has a shower.
The unit has air conditioning, satellite TV, lounge with double sleeper couch for children, kitchen and a patio for dining that views of the Crocodile River and the Kruger Park.

Self-Catering Unit 3
This unit has 2 en-suite bedrooms with either queen size beds or twin beds and a bathroom with baths and outside bush showers.
There is air conditioning, a kitchen, large patio for dining, satellite TV, double sleeper couches in the lounge and 4 adults and 2 children can be accommodated here. The unit has stunning views of the Crocodile River and is just metres from the edge of the Kruger National Park.

Standard Rooms
These rooms have no self catering facilities but are equipped with tea/coffee trays, private bathrooms of either a shower or bath, air conditioning, mosquito repellents and scenic view of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park.

How To Get To Bucklers Africa Lodge

From the N4
Take the Komatipoort turning – also signed to Crocodile Bridge Gate KNP drive through the town on the R571 and continue for 6km till wide dirt road left side, sign Buckler's Africa turn here, drive 3.5km on dirt road Buckler's Africa sign turn right .
Alternative Route - 27km from Malelane
Turn left at Ten bosch 7.5km on dirt road turn right drive 6km Buckler's Africa sign turn left. Please note this road is in poor condition but okay for a 4x4.
From Kruger National Park Crocodile Bridge Gate
Drive straight for 3km on R571 till wide dirt road right side, sign Buckler's Africa turn here, drive 3.5km on dirt road Buckler's Africa sign turn right.
